A single-piece construction coupler for securing reinforcing bars in a parallel relationship includes a sleeve having a center portion, a first end portion extending from one end of the center portion, a second end portion extending from the opposing end of the center portion, and a channel. The center portion includes opposing sidewalls connected by an upper wall, and each of the end portions comprise opposing sidewalls connected by lower walls. Securing tabs extend into the channel from the bottom of the upper wall. Ridges extend into the channel from each of the lower walls and the upper wall. The center portion and the end portions each include fillets connecting the sidewalls and the ridges to upper and lower walls to form rounded surfaces for receiving the reinforcing bars. The sleeve also includes grip protrusions on its outer surfaces.

A structure for supporting reinforcement bars includes a base, and first legs extending upwardly from the opposite sides of the base. Attached to shoulders of the first legs are first and second cradles, each having opposing sidewalls that form channels therebetween. Reinforcement bars inserted into the first and second cradles are retained within the channels by retaining members protruding from the opposing sidewalls. A first base support member spans a central opening in the base between the first legs. Second legs extend upwardly from the first base support member and connect to the cradles. Third and fourth legs extend upwardly from opposing ends of the base and connect to the cradles. The structure includes fillets at various points on the cradles, including fillets connecting the cradles to the shoulders of the first legs.

A structure for supporting concrete reinforcement bars in an orthogonal relationship above a surface includes a base member having a central opening and first and second pairs of leg members extending upward at an angle from the base member on opposite sides of the central opening, wherein the first leg members are longer than the second leg members. Attached to shoulders of the first and second leg members are first and second cradles having opposing upper and lower sidewalls that form channels therebetween. The first and second cradles receive reinforcement bars that are retained within the cradles by retaining members protruding from the opposing sidewalls into the channels. A ridge extending from the base member has a central portion and first and second portions sloping down from the central portion toward the base member which form a channel for receiving a reinforcement bar. The structure also includes various upper and lower fillets and edge brace portions at various points on the upper and lower cradles, including fillets between the opposing upper and lower sidewalls and first and second leg members and edge brace portions between the outer edges and bottom edges of the opposing upper and lower sidewalls and first and second leg members.

The top may include an elastomeric material such as rubber. A ball retrieval implement is fixed to the proximal end of the device, such that the device allows a golfer to pick up a ball laying on the ground without the need to bend over or down.
