A weld-on damaged fastener removal device has a weld cup with a deep concave form, and a detachable handle attached to the weld cup. The weld cup has a base and sidewalls that define a hex-shaped outer surface for accommodating a drive tool for rotating the device. A circular hole extends through the base, and a cone-shaped protrusion surrounds the hole. In use, the weld cup is positioned with the hole in the base of the weld cup aligned with the fastener, and the cone-shaped protrusion protruding toward and engaging the exposed end of the fastener. The handle is used to position and hold the weld cup on the fastener while welding the device to the fastener around the perimeter of the hole. A wrench or pry bar can then be used to apply a rotating or pulling force to the weld cup to remove the damaged fastener.

A hook assembly has a hook body with a shank portion and a free end portion defining a hook opening. The free end portion has a tip end with a through passage, and a key slot formed in the through passage. A removable pin is received in the through passage to substantially close an open side of the hook opening to retain items within the hook opening. The pin has a protrusion that mates with the key slot when the pin is rotated to a first position to allow the pin to be received in and removed from the through passage. The protrusion serves as a locking structure to prevent the pin from being removed from the through passage when the pin is rotated away from the first position. A spring retainer is arranged to keep the pin in its locked position.

A stabilized attachment assembly () and ratchet load binder () using the stabilized attachment assembly () is provided. The stabilized attachment assembly () includes an attachment member () to which a lever arm () is coupled. The ratchet load binder () includes a tubular member () rotatably driven by a ratchet handle assembly (). The attachment assembly () is threadedly engaged in one open end () of the tubular member () and an attachment member () is threadedly engaged in an opposing open end () of tubular member () and both are linearly displaced towards or away from one another responsive to rotation of the tubular member () in a particular direction. A user holds the lever arm () in one hand while reciprocally operating the ratchet handle assembly () with another hand.

One indexing clamp includes a mobile base having handle and fastening ends and locking jaws at the fastening end, an indexing post extending from the base, a shaft extending from the post, a primary prong having a cavity, and secondary prongs. A shaft diameter is smaller than a post diameter, and the shaft and post are coaxial at an axis. The primary prong is selectively positionable at first and second lowered positions and a raised position. The first and second positions are angularly offset from one another about the axis, and the primary prong is rotatable about the axis when at the raised position. A biasing member biases the primary prong away from the raised position. The post and the primary prong cavity are configured complementary to one another such that the primary prong is movable between the first and second positions only after moving to the raised position.

A vehicle recovery hitch attachment device (&#x2033;) includes a closed link () having opposed first and second radiused ends () joined by a pair of side members (), and a pair of eyelet members () respectively extending from the pair of side members (). Each of the pair of eyelet members () has an opening () formed therethrough aligned one with the other. The first radiused end () is fitted over a vehicle hitch tow ball () and secured thereat by insertion of a locking pin () through the pair of openings () in the pair of eyelet members () to engage a neck portion () of a hitch ball () for subsequent coupling of the closed link to recovery equipment (). A coupling link () may be included and coupled to the second radiused end () of the closed link () for coupling to the recovery equipment () or alternately inserted into a hitch receiver tube opening () and releasably secured therein by the locking pin ().

A clevis type slip hook or grab hook includes a safety latch which is held in position by a biased pin that may be axially extended to move the latch between a latching and unlatching position to close or open the slot in the slip hook. The latch is comprised of a closure member in the form of a plate having an elongate edge that fits in the hook slot between the tip end and shank end of the hook.

Locking devices as well as methods of their manufacture and use are disclosed. One locking device includes first and second legs operatively coupled together to form a perimeter substantially uninterrupted from a proximal end of the first leg to a proximal end of the second leg. The proximal ends are separated by an opening, and each proximal end respectively defines a passage. A keyway extends from the first leg passage, and first and second shoulders are adjacent the keyway. A receiving area extends from the second leg passage. A locking pin passes through the second leg passage and is movable between an open position, a closed position, and an intermediate position. The locking pin has a key and a stop that prevent the locking pin from passing entirely through the second leg passage. A biasing member biases the locking pin in various ways.

A grab hook includes a locking plate which is held in position by a biased pin that may be axially extended to move the locking plate between a latching and unlatching position to close or open the slot in the grab hook.

An air tool storage device includes a mounting plate with axial shaft projecting therethrough for receipt of opposed flanged circular retainer members that are spaced apart so as to receive at one radial position an air tool disconnect plug. A body member within the space between the opposed circular retainer members may be rotated to align outwardly extending radial pins with the notches of the retainer members aligned so that disconnect plugs may be positioned on the device or removed from the device.

The socket adapter includes an internal sliding driver member which projects from one end or the other of the body of the adapter to define a driver of a first cross sectional size in configuration or an alternate cross sectional size in configuration when projected or telescoped from one end or the other end of the adapter body.

An air hose reel is formed by an upright L-shaped support horizontally journalling an axle having reel forming spokes secured to one end portion for angular rotation in a vertical plane. A tension spring and friction washers surround the axle for retarding free wheeling movement of the reel. Couplings at respective ends of the axle are connected with air hose.
