The present invention is directed to a camouflage tire suitable for use in various vehicle use environments wherein it is desirable to reduce or eliminate a viewer's visual perception of the tire against the given environmental background.

Camouflage tire

A two-piece tire assemblywith a removable tread beltfor installing about the circumference of a tire carcassis provided. The two-piece tire assemblyincludes a tread belthas a belt structurehaving two or more belt layerseach layer having one or more belts. The tread belthas a radially inner surfacehaving one or more protruding circumferential ribsor groovesthat fit into complementary groovesor ribson an outer crown surface of the tire carcass. The tread belthas a maximum axial belt width W at a radially inner surface. The carcasshas a maximum section width SW and ply linehaving a maximum width P wherein W&#x2266;0.95P, BW&#x2266;5 0.85P and P&#x3c;SW.

A low pressure tire for off road use has a carcass reinforced with carcass plies and a composite structure including a tread , a belt or breaker reinforcement and one or more low angle cord reinforced layers

An all-terrain vehicle tire ( ) operated at 4 psi (0.3 bar) or less inflation pressure has a plurality of lugs ( ) arranged in a pitched pattern for noise reduction. The ratio of small (S), medium (M) and large (L) pitches are preferably arranged with a maximum pitch variation between circumferentially adjacent pitches of 1.1 to 1.

Variable pitched tread for ATV tire

A directional, symmetrical tread 12 for a tire 10 is disclosed. The tread 12 has a row 40 of elements 30, 32 which have leading and trailing edge surfaces relative to the direction of forward travel. Between the leading edge 70 of the second element and the trailing edge 74 of the first element is a tie bar 66 having a radial height which varies across the lateral width of the tie bar 66 and circumferential length of the tie bar 66.
