A radial cushioning apparatus including an inner member, an outer member, and an elastomer. The inner member accommodates a shaft passing endwise therethrough. The outer member is arranged in radially spaced relation from the inner member. The elastomer is secured to the inner and outer members and defines a plurality of collapsible spaces into which elastomer material can flex thereby cushioning radial deflection of the shaft.

This is concerned with a fishtape reel which is in the nature of an inwardly opening circumferential housing with a closure for the inside which functions as a handle and also as a reeling and dereeling unit and, at the same time, closes the inner periphery of the reel or housing.

A ratchet crimp tool has upper and lower handles joined by a ratchet member. An upper jaw is fixed to the upper handle. A lower jaw is pivotally connected to both handles. The jaws have attachment elements disposed in facing relation. Upper and lower crimp nests are slidably mounted on the attachment elements. The crimp nests have arms which define a channel, which in turn meshes with the associated attachment element in interlocking engagement. Ball detents are mounted in holes in the jaws. The detents engage the crimp nests to retain them on the jaws. An interlocking pin and slot arrangement is provided to insure proper orientation of the nests on the jaws.
