A packing material including a plurality of discrete cushioning elements and methods for making the same. The discrete cushioning elements may be cellulosic cushioning elements. A flexible linkage may connect the plurality of discrete cushioning elements in the packing material. The packing material may also include a bottom cellulosic sheet connected to a top cellulosic sheet with the plurality of cellulosic cushioning elements positioned between the top cellulosic sheet and the bottom cellulosic sheet. The packing material may also be a molded packing material that includes bonds comprising adhesive and cellulosic fibers. The adhesive and cellulosic fibers of the bonds may be dispersed between the folds of each of the cellulosic cushioning elements.

Packing material and method of manufacturing the packing material

A molded packing material and a method of making the molded packing material. The molded packing material includes a plurality of molded fiber cushioning elements. The molded packing may also include a matrix comprising cellulosic fibers bonding the plurality of molded fiber cushioning elements to each other. The plurality of molded fiber cushioning elements and matrix form a mass that has been molded into a shape having exterior surfaces and an interior with some of the plurality of molded fiber cushioning elements being on the exterior surfaces of the mass and the remainder of the plurality of molded fiber cushioning elements being in the interior of the mass. The molded packing material may also include a fiber shell having a cavity formed therein with the plurality of molded fiber cushioning elements located in the cavity.

A packaging material and a cylindrical shipping box. The packaging material may be a convertible packaging material including an outer wall section and an inner wall section. The outer wall section has an outer surface formed thereon, and the inner wall section is formed of a plurality of segments. The convertible packaging material is convertible between a flat state and a tubular state. The cylindrical shipping box may include circumferential wall, a top cap, and a bottom cap. The circumferential wall is configurable in a flat configuration and a tubular configuration. The packaging material and the circumferential wall may include a plurality of triangular cells.

Packaging material and method of forming a packaging material

An umbrella including a support shaft, a plurality of ribs, a rotatable cam assembly, and a canopy. Each rib of the plurality of ribs has a proximal end portion and a distal end portion. The proximal end portion is pivotably attached to an upper portion of the support shaft to pivot the rib between an open position and a closed position. The rotatable cam assembly includes a cam configured to rotate about a longitudinal axis of the support shaft. The cam is engaged with each rib of the plurality of ribs such that (i) each rib moves in a direction from the closed position to the open position when the cam rotates in a first direction and (ii) each rib moves in a direction from the open position to the closed position when the cam rotates in a second direction, the second direction being opposite the first direction.

The cover includes a seating panel and at least one side panel or at last one tensioning panel. The seating panel includes a seating surface facing an upward direction. Systems for a touchless musical instrument, where the touchless musical instrument includes: multiple sensors, where each sensor detects a presence of an object within a predetermined distance of the sensor; an audio speaker; a processor electrically connected to the sensors and the audio speaker; and executes instructions on the process to: receive, from the plurality of sensors, an object detection signal indicating a location of the object with respect to the plurality of sensors; generate an audio output signal based on the location of the object indicated by the object detection signal; and generate an audible output from the audio speaker by transmitting the audio output signal to the audio speaker.

A packing material including a strip of corrugated cellulosic material and a method of packing an object in a shipping box using the packing material. The strip of corrugated cellulosic material includes a plurality of macro flutes and is moveable between an expanded state and a compressed state. The strip of corrugated cellulosic material is in the compressed state when a compression force is applied to the strip of corrugated cellulosic material in the longitudinal direction and in the expanded state when the compression force is removed. The length of the strip of corrugated cellulosic material is longer in the expanded state than the compressed state.

Method of packing an object in a shipping box

An umbrella includes a shaft, a canopy, and an opening and closing mechanism that moves the canopy between an open state and a closed state. An inner stretcher frame has an inner hub and a plurality of inner stretchers. Each of the plurality of inner stretchers has a proximal end rotatably connected to the inner hub, and a distal end. An outer stretcher frame has an outer hub and a plurality of outer stretchers. Each of the plurality of outer stretchers has a proximal end that is rotatably connected to the outer hub, and a distal end. A plurality of connector assemblies rotatably connect the distal end of each of the plurality of inner stretchers to the distal end of a corresponding one of the plurality of outer stretchers, and retain the outer edge of the canopy.

A moveable figurine assembly including a base, a moveable support supported by the base, a figurine balanced on the moveable support, and a movement mechanism. The figurine includes a wheel, a body and a pair of extensions. The body of the figurine is positioned above the wheel and connected to the wheel, and each extension of the pair of extensions has a first end attached to the body and a second end. The movement mechanism is configured to move the support such that at least a portion of the support is inclined at an angle relative to horizontal, and when the direction is inclined at a downward angle, the figurine moves on the support in a downward direction.
