A publishing application monitors actions performed on the mobile communication device and enables selection of at least one of the actions. Content associated with selected actions may be stored and data associated with at least one of the selected actions and the content associated with at least one selected action may be extracted. The multi-media information may be displayed on a graphical user interface in a pre-selected format, such as a chronologically arranged list. Users may preview and modify the multi-media information before publication through a pre-selected communication service. The multi-media information may be published by selecting an icon, including an image identifying the pre-selected communication service. The mobile communication device generates content that users may efficiently modify and publish to a desired communication service.

An electronic device or system and method are provided for selectively normalizing or modifying content element attributes that are defined using absolute values, such as absolute font sizes expressed in length measurements such as points and pixels. A document containing structured content, such as an HTML-formatted email message or webpage, is obtained. When any such content element attributes are included with the document, a determination is made whether those attributes can be changed for that document. The determination may be dependent on the complexity of the structured document. If so, the absolute values are converted to relative values, and the document is subsequently rendered for display.

There is disclosed a system and method for integrating an image upload object with a message list. In an embodiment, the method comprises: creating an image upload object for each image to be uploaded; and displaying the image upload object in a message list such that the image upload object may be selected and opened as a message. In another embodiment, the method may further comprise associating with the image upload object at least one of a text description, a thumbnail of the image, a date, and a file link to the uploaded image. In another embodiment, an image upload object in the message list may be configured such that the image upload object may be forwarded to another user as a message, and the associated uploaded image may be accessed by the other user via the file link.
