In some embodiments, a fire control mechanism comprises a trigger, a hammer and a disconnector. The trigger comprises a trigger sear and is arranged to rotate about a trigger axis. The hammer comprises a hammer sear and a secondary sear and is arranged to rotate about a hammer axis. The disconnector comprises a disconnector sear and is arranged to move with respect to the trigger. The fire control mechanism comprises an orientation wherein the trigger sear contacts the hammer sear and the secondary sear contacts the disconnector sear.

Two-stage trigger arrangement

In some embodiments, a fire control mechanism comprises a hammer, a trigger and a safety. The hammer is rotatable about a hammer axis. The trigger is rotatable about a trigger axis and arranged to contact the hammer. The safety is arranged to interfere with rotation of the trigger. The safety comprises a second portion moveable with respect to a first portion.

AK fire control mechanism

In some embodiments, a firearm action mechanism comprises a bolt assembly, a counterweight and a connector engaged with the bolt assembly and with the counterweight. The bolt assembly is arranged to move along a first axis. The counterweight is arranged to move along a second axis. A direction of movement of the bolt assembly is different from a direction of movement of the counterweight. In some embodiments, the movement of the counterweight is opposite the movement of the bolt assembly. In some embodiments, the connector comprises a roller.

In some embodiments, a firearm muzzle device comprises a body comprising an internal passageway comprising a first portion and a second portion. The first portion comprises a larger cross-sectional area than the second portion. A plurality of first vents are each in fluid communication with the first portion. The trigger comprises a trigger sear and a stop. The hammer comprises a hammer sear and a catch. The fire control assembly comprises a first orientation wherein the trigger sear contacts the hammer sear and impedes rotation of the hammer, and a second orientation wherein the stop contacts the catch and impedes rotation of the hammer.
