The invention relates to a rope drum of a rope hoist, the rope drum having a drum cover for winding a hoisting rope around it, a power transmission member at an end of the drum cover for driving the rope drum, and a fastening device for fastening an end of the hoisting rope to the rope drum. The fastening device is fastenable on an area between the end surfaces of the rope drum, close to an end of the rope drum and protruding from its surface, and mainly comprises a cylindrical gripping part for installing a spliced rope loop of the hoisting rope around it, and a fastening protrusion arranged to extend from the cylindrical gripping part over the end of the rope loop and simultaneously forming a space partly enclosing the end of the rope loop.

Rope drum of rope hoist and fastening device of hoisting rope

A rope fastening arrangement of a hoisting device, which comprises a rope drum, a fastening device having a chamber which defines the vertical boundary dimensions, the horizontal boundary dimensions, and depth direction boundary dimensions of the fastening device, a hoisting rope and a hoisting member which by means of the hoisting rope ascends and descends supported by the fastening device and rope drum. Said rope fastening arrangement further comprises that the hoisting rope () is locked to the fastening device by wedging, whereby the fastening device guides the first end of the hoisting rope away so that the first end of the hoisting rope does not extend outside the vertical boundary dimensions of the chamber.

Rope fastening arrangement of hoisting device

A frame structure of a hoist, the frame structure including a support frame structure, a bearing wheel arrangement fastened to the support frame structure by suspenders to support the hoist on a main support structure and to move the hoist on the main support structure, whereby the bearing wheel arrangement includes, in the movement direction of the hoist, bearing wheels arranged on opposite sides thereof, and upper sheave arrangements secured to the support frame structure, wherein the support frame structure includes two plates arranged opposite and at a distance from each other, the upper parts of the plates bent towards each other, and in the support frame structure there is arranged an axle passing through both plates, on which axle a sheave is arranged between the plates, and the bent upper parts of the plates are detachably fastenable by a wedge locking to the suspender in order to adjust the mutual distance between the bearing wheels arranged on opposite sides of the support frame structure by means of the suspenders.

Frame structure of hoist

The hoisting arrangement of a hoist of a of a crane, includes a trolley arranged to move along a main support structure of the crane, whereby the trolley includes a support frame structure; bearing wheels which are fastened to the support frame structure and by means of which the trolley is arranged to move along said main support structure; a hoisting mechanism that has a rope drum for a hoisting rope, a rope pulley arrangement which has upper sheave arrangements and lower rope pulley arrangements and through which the hoisting rope may be guided from the rope drum to an attachment point, and a hoisting member in cooperation with the hoisting rope for hoisting a load; whereby the rope drum is supported to the support frame structure of the trolley so that the axle of the rope drum is parallel to the main support structure. In the hoisting arrangement, the disengagement point of the hoisting rope from the rope drum, the attachment point of the sheave, and the attachment point of the first end of hoisting rope are arranged on the same vertical plane of the hoisting arrangement. The rope drum has a first end towards which the hoisting rope is wound in the hoisting member's upper position, and a second end towards which the hoisting rope is unwound in the hoisting member's lower position. The first rope pulley of the rope pulley arrangement is so placed that the release point of the hoisting rope from the first rope pulley to the first sheave is, in the axle direction of the rope drum, further from the second end than the first end of the rope drum.

Hoisting arrangement of a hoist of a crane

A trolley of a crane is arranged to move along a main support structure of the crane. The trolley includes a support frame structure; bearing wheels which are fastened to the support frame structure and by means of which the trolley is arranged to move along the main support structure; and a hoisting mechanism that has a rope drum for a hoisting rope, a rope pulley arrangement through which the hoisting rope may be guided from the rope drum to a fixed fastening point on the trolley, and a hoisting member in cooperation with the hoisting rope for hoisting a load. The rope drum is supported to the support frame structure of the trolley so that the axle of the rope drum is parallel to the main support structure. The rope pulley arrangement is located, in the axial direction of the rope drum, at least partly outside one rope drum end which is on the side of said fastening point. The support frame structure is divided into two separate frame parts, whereby the first frame part supports the rope pulley arrangement and the rope drum end on the side thereof, and whereby the second frame part supports the opposite end of the rope drum. A pivoted joint is arranged between the first frame part and the second frame part, which allows the first and second frame part to move relative to each other around the vertical and horizontal axis and the longitudinal axis of the first and second frame part.

Trolley of a crane

A shaft coupling includes a first shaft supported by a bearing at a first end, and a second shaft supported by a bearing at a second end. The first shaft and second shaft are coaxially arranged so that the second end of the first shaft is against the first end of the second shaft. On an end surface of the second end of the first shaft, there is a recess, and a protrusion protrudes from the end surface of the first end of the second shaft, and the recess receives the protrusion. The shaft coupling includes only one third bearing, as well as a coupler which receives the second end of the first shaft and the first end of the second shaft. With such a solution, a greater radial error may be allowed between the shafts without the structures of the coupling point being overloaded.

Shaft coupling

A trolley of a crane is arranged to move along a main support structure of the crane. The trolley includes a support frame structure; bearing wheels fastened to the support frame structure and by means of which the trolley is arranged to move along the main support structure; a hoisting mechanism that has a rope drum for a hoisting rope; a rope pulley arrangement through which the hoisting rope may be guided from the rope drum to a fixed fastening point on the trolley; and a hoisting member in cooperation with the hoisting rope for hoisting a load. The rope drum is supported to the support frame structure of the trolley so that the axle of the rope drum is parallel to the main support structure. The rope pulley arrangement is located, in the axial direction of the rope drum, at least partly outside one rope drum end which is on the side of said fastening point. The support frame structure is divided into two separate frame parts, whereby the first frame part supports the rope pulley arrangement and the rope drum end on the side thereof, and whereby the second frame part supports the opposite end of the rope drum.

Crane trolley

A low-construction trolley for a wire rope hoist is arranged to travel along a lower flange of a horizontal rail, on both longitudinal edges thereof. The trolley includes a trolley frame; bearing wheels that are attached to the trolley frame and arranged to travel on an upper surface of the lower flange of the rail; a hoisting mechanism including a rope drum for a hoisting rope, a hoisting member in cooperation with the hoisting rope for hoisting a load, a hoisting motor for driving the rope drum, and a gear to interconnect the hoisting motor and the rope drum; whereby the rope drum is supported to one side of the trolley frame and the hoisting member is arranged to travel under the rail in a vertical plane (A) passing substantially through the middle of the beam. For balancing the trolley without using a counterweight, the hoisting motor is placed under the rail and at least partly on a different side than the rope drum in relation to a vertical plane (B) passing through contact lines of the bearing wheels that touch the lower flange of the rail on the rope drum side.

Low-construction trolley for wire rope hoist

A hoisting arrangement of a rope hoist includes a hoisting rope, a rope drum with one rope groove for the hoisting rope, and a hoisting member for hoisting a load. The hoisting member includes a rope pulley arrangement for the hoisting rope. The hoisting rope is routed from the rope drum via at least the hoisting member's rope pulley arrangement to a fixed attachment point on the rope hoist. The rope drum is tilted in relation to the horizontal plane in a manner where the first end of the rope drum, towards which the hoisting rope is wound in the hoisting member's upper position, is higher than the rope drum's second end, towards which the hoisting rope is unwound in the hoisting member's lower position.

Hoisting arrangement of rope hoist

A hoisting machine arrangement includes a rope drum, which has a driven gearwheel; a hoisting motor for driving the rope drum; and a gear between the hoisting motor and the rope drum. The gear has a body and a driving gearwheel, the driving gearwheel of the gear being coupled to the driven gearwheel of the rope drum. The body of the gear has a first drilling, which is arranged for fitting a shaft of the driving gearwheel; and a second drilling, which is parallel to the first drilling and arranged for fitting a shaft of the rope drum or the like. A method is disclosed for preparing a gear of a hoisting machine arrangement of this type.

Hoisting machine arrangement and method for preparing gear thereof

A low-construction hoist for a wire rope hoist is arranged to move along a lower flange of a horizontal beam or rail. The trolley includes a trolley frame; bearing wheels, which are fixed to the trolley body and arranged to move on the upper surface of the lower flange of the rail, a hoisting mechanism including a rope drum for a hoisting rope, a hoisting member in cooperation with the hoisting rope for hoisting a load, and a hoisting motor for driving the rope drum; whereby the rope drum is supported to a first side of the trolley frame so that the axle of the rope drum is parallel to the rail, and the hoisting member is arranged to move under the rail; whereby the hoisting rope is led from the rope drum to a fixing point in the trolley frame through at least a rope pulley arrangement of the hoisting member, whereby the fixing point of the hoisting rope to the trolley frame is located in the longitudinal direction of the trolley outside the end of the rope drum, or outside the vertical plane which is transverse in relation to the rail or beam and passing through the end of the rope drum.

The object of the invention is a bridge crane, which comprises a main girder, which is fitted to travel supported by end carriages essentially at both ends and which bridge crane further comprises a hoisting trolley traveling supported by the main girder and a rope drum mounted on bearings to rotate in an essentially stationary position, from which rope drum the hoisting rope is guided to a hook traveling along with the hoisting trolley. The hoisting rope is supported from below for at least a part of its essentially horizontal section.

Vacuum gripping apparatus

An electromagnetic brake is disclosed which comprises a brake wheel, a friction surface touching the brake wheel during braking and attached to an anchor plate moved by brake springs and an electromagnet which disengages the friction surface from contact with the brake wheel when a current is supplied to the magnet. To compensate for the wear of the friction surface, the brake has at least one retainer mounted on a bolt or shaft lying parallel to the axial direction of the brake. The retainer moves with the anchor plate towards the brake wheel and is provided with a directional element which limits the motion of the anchor plate away from the brake wheel. The brake is also provided with a wedge ring rotated by a spring which serves to move the electromagnet towards the brake wheel.
