A high pressure hose with a reinforcing steel cord having twisted steel filaments. A first condition is a condition in which a winding direction of a steel cord in an N(N&#x2265;1) steel cord reinforced layer and in an (N+1)steel cord reinforced layer are different, and a winding direction of a steel cord in a first steel cord reinforced layer () and a twisting direction of an outermost layer steel filament in the steel cord in the first steel cord reinforced layer () are different. A second condition is a condition in which the twisting direction of the outermost layer steel filament in the steel cord in the first steel cord reinforced layer () and of an outermost layer steel filament in a steel cord in a second steel cord reinforced layer () are identical. The first condition and second condition are not simultaneously satisfied.

High pressure hose

A hose includes an inner tube rubber layer, a woven material underlayer having a woven base material made of polyamide (PA) or polyethylene terephthalate (PET), and a reinforcing material layer, which are sequentially laminated on the inner rube rubber layer in this order. Following relationship formula (1) is to be satisfied,&#x2003;&#x2003;(1)wherein 'A' represents SOconcentration in the inner tube rubber layer (unit: mol/mm), 't' represents thickness of the inner tube rubber layer (unit: mm), &#x201c;B&#x201d; represents SOconcentration per 1 g of the woven base material (unit: mol/g), &#x201c;C&#x201d; represents mass of the woven base material per unit area of the woven material underlayer (unit: g/mm), and &#x201c;D&#x201d; represents a constant of 2.5&#xd7;10(unit: mol/mm). 100 pbm of a rubber component contains at least 60 pbm of acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) and t&#x2265;0.5 mm.
