The display includes a first region being a detectable region and a second region being a part of the first region and a movable region where the display object moves according to the input operation. When a tap operation is detected, the display object is moved to coordinates of the tap operation being in the second region, and the display object is not moved toward coordinates of the tap operation being outside the second region. When a drag operation is detected, the display object is moved within the second region in accordance with a coordinate change due to the drag operation in the first region.

An image capturing device including a mode switch rotatable to change a pointing position movable between three predetermined positions corresponding to at least three image-capturing modes including a first mode, a second mode, and a third mode, to switch between the first mode, the second mode, and the third mode. The circuitry controls the image capturing device to operate in one of the three image-capturing modes. The moving-picture generator generates a moving-picture file by incorporating a plurality of still pictures, obtained by the imaging operations, into a frame composing a moving picture.

The metadata contains post-processing information includes information based on the visual effects process. The recorder stores the image file. The visual effects process is used in processing the image data. The image processor conducting a post process in which more than one visual effects process is carried out, a new image file is created, and the new image file is stored in the recorder. The post-processing information has a post-processing counter and pre-processing information. The post-processing counter indicates the number of times the post process is carried out. The pre-processing information represents the state of a preprocessed image file prior to post processing.
