Vehicular lamp

A light unit is configured in such a manner that a light guide is placed between a light source and a projection lens, and includes a first exit surface for emitting light for a low-beam light distribution pattern and a second exit surface for emitting light for an additional light distribution pattern that is added to form a high-beam light distribution pattern. The light guide is configured to be provided with a mirror surface portion on a connection surface extending toward the back of the unit from a lower edge of the first exit surface to an upper edge of the second exit surface. As a result, light from a light-emitting element that has been emitted through the second exit surface and reached the connection surface is reflected by the mirror surface portion to be used as the light for forming the additional light distribution pattern.

A vehicle lamp includes: a circuit board on which a light source is mounted; a heat sink having a front surface or a rear surface to which the circuit board is attached and configured to release heat generated when the light source is driven; and a cooling fan disposed above or below the circuit board and the heat sink. Cooling air generated by the cooling fan flows along the heat sink and the light source.

A light emitting element, a reflector, a projection lens, and a movable shade are arranged in a lamp chamber. As the movable shade is erected, a low beam is formed. As the movable shade is tilted, a travelling beam is formed. The reflector and a sub reflector are integrally formed. The movable reflector reflects the reflected light reflected by the sub reflector toward the projection lens. The sub reflector is positioned in a range of an outer shape of the projection lens.

Vehicle headlamp

A light source includes a substrate on which an excitation light source is mounted, a lens including a light transmitting portion that transmits light from the excitation light source and a body attached to the substrate, a first thermal expansion absorber that protrudes from the body and has high heat resistance and elasticity, and a cover fixed to the substrate in a state where the body of the lens is sandwiched between the cover and the substrate via the first thermal expansion absorber.
