A vehicle seat includes right and left side frames, and an elastic member (cushion spring) run between the right and left side frames. The right and left side framesinclude side wallsdisposed opposite to each other in a lateral direction, and flange portions (upper flange portions) respectively extending laterally inward from the side walls, and the elastic member is attached to the flange portions.

Provided is a vehicle seat in which entry of foreign matter from an opening part formed in a cover member is suppressed when stored. The vehicle seat of the present invention includes a seat cushionon which an occupant sits, a leg memberthat supports the seat cushionand includes a locking deviceat a lower end, a cover memberthat covers a front side of the leg member, wherein an opening part is formed at a position of the cover member that overlaps with the locking device, and an elastically deformable lip partthat is attached to the cover memberand that covers the opening part. Since the opening part is covered by the lip part, the entry of foreign matter is suppressed.

A vehicle seat includes a seat pad and a bracket configured to be held by the seat pad. The seat pad includes a first pad member and a second pad member firmer than the first pad member. The bracket includes an embedded portion embedded in the second pad member and a protrusion that protrudes outward from the second pad member. The protrusion includes an attachment surface in which a through-hole for attachment of a component is formed.

Provided is a vehicle seat in which the transmission direction of deformation of a seat when an impact load is applied thereto is diffused so that impact absorbability is improved. This vehicle seat includes a seat back having a seat back frame that serves as a framework. The seat back frame has side frames positioned on the left and right sides, and a lower frame connecting lower parts of the side frames. The lower frame has a weakened part that is deformed when an impact load is applied, and a deformation guiding part for guiding the deformation direction of the weakened part. The weakened part and the deformation guiding part are arranged in the centers of areas obtained by extending the center portion of the lower frame toward the right and left sides with the same vertical-direction width, are provided on the same horizontal plane.

A stowable rear seat includes a seat back unit; and a seat cushion unit. The seat back unit includes a tiltable seat back erected on a floor surface; a seat back locking mechanism for locking a tilt of the seat back; and a rocking member rocking in cooperation with a tilting operation of the seat back after unlocking the seat back locking mechanism. The seat cushion unit includes a seat cushion horizontally placed on the floor surface in front of the seat back, the seat cushion being foldable on a foot floor surface at a lower position than the floor surface; a lock shaft provided at a back end of the seat cushion; and a seat cushion locking mechanism provided in the floor surface, the seat cushion locking mechanism engaging with the lock shaft to lock a horizontal state of the seat cushion on the floor surface.

A stowable rear seat, wherein a seat back section comprises: a seat back body stood in a floor surface so as to tilt freely; a seat back locking mechanism that locks the tilting of the seat back body; and a swinging member that swings in the forward/backward direction in conjunction with the tilting movement of the seat back body when the lock of the seat back locking mechanism is released and the seat back body tilts. The seat cushion section of the stowable rear seat comprises: a seat cushion body freely housed in the underfoot floor surface and arranged horizontally in the floor surface in front of the seat back body, and a seat cushion locking mechanism that locks the seat cushion body in a horizontal state on the floor surface.
