This invention intends to provide a method and apparatus for manufacturing an electric wire, capable of easily changing a color applied to the electric wire. The electric wire manufacturing apparatus intends to manufacture an electric wire composed of a core and a cladding. In step S, the core is supplied from a supply unit. In step S, in an extrusion cladding unit, the outer periphery of the core is coated with non-color synthetic resin by extrusion cladding to form the cladding.
