Disclosed is a light emitting diode lamp and a method for producing thereof, in which at least one light emitting diode is connected between at least a pair of conductive members at their upper end portions, the light emitting diode is embedded together with the conductive members in a molding of a light transmissible resin material, with the respective lower end portions of the conductive members being left exposed, and the respective exposed lower end portions of the conductive members are connected to a lamp base or cap and a contact member supported at the lower end of the lamp base or cap and insulated from the lamp base or cap.

Disclosed is a wire terminal connector for use in an electric device, comprising an electrically conductive terminal plate formed with at least one screw hole, and at least one terminal screw to be screwed into the screw hole, for fixing a wire terminal between the terminal plate and the terminal screw, in which the terminal connector further comprises: a movable electrically conductive member slidably supported perpendicularly to the terminal plate, the movable member including a first portion extending parallel with the terminal plate and supporting the terminal screw, and a second portion integrally formed with the first portion and extending perpendicularly to the first portion from one end of the first portion, the second portion being formed with a rectangular stopper portion for restricting a range of movement of the first portion; a compression spring with its one end supported by the second portion of the movable member; and a fixed spring-support portion for supporting the compression spring at the other end thereof so that the terminal screw is stably held at a selected one of at least two, a first and a second, stable positions, the first and second positions having the largest and smallest distances from the terminal plate respectively.

Disclosed is an adapter for enabling an actuating switch, which has at least one contact section and an actuating section movably accommodating therein an actuator for actuating the contact section and which is so arranged that a first hollow cylindrical portion constituting a part of the actuating section and axially movably accommodating therein the actuator, can be directly mounted in a first hole having a first predetermined inner diameter and previously formed in a panel, to be mounted through the adapter in a second hole having a second predetermined inner diameter and previously formed in the same or another panel. The adapter comprises a first engaging device for engaging with the actuating section and a second engaging device for engaging with the panel through the second hole.

Disclosed is a digital switch which is manually rotated step by step and which comprises a casing, a wheel rotatably supported in the casing, device for manually rotating the wheel step by step, an electrical contact carried by the wheel, an electrical circuit board attached to the casing and provided with a plurality of electrical contacts which are successively touched by the electrical contact carried by the wheel when the wheel is rotated step by step, for producing an electrical signal in accordance with a stepping rotary position of the wheel, and a locking device for disabling the wheel rotating device.

Digital switch

A small-sized relay and a method for fabricating the same are disclosed. The relay comprises a prefabricated relay mechanism and an insulating cover covering the relay mechanism. Prior to assembling the relay mechanism and cover, a laser machining device is utilized to form, in the cover, holes of very small diameter which permit flow of gas molecules therethrough but do not permit the flow of dust particles or liquid molecules therethrough. The prefabricated relay mechanism is covered with the cover formed with such holes, and the opening of the cover except the portion including the holes is closed to hermetically seal the relay mechanism.

An electronic timer having two electromagnetic relays is disclosed. The two electromagnetic relays are mounted on an insulating base plate. The electronic timer further comprises a delay circuit. At least one of the two electromagnetic relays is connected to an external power supply through the delay circuit. These two electromagnetic relays may be connected in such a manner that when connected with an external power supply, one of them is operated instantaneously while the other is actuated after a delay time, or in such a manner that both of them are simultaneously operated after a predetermined delay time, or in such a manner that they are operated after different delay times.

An electromagnet relay is disclosed. The relay comprises at least one electromagnet relay-contact assembly and a housing for containing the electromagnet relay-contact assembly. The electromagnet relay-contact assembly comprises at least one contact block including at least one of a normally-open contact and a normally-closed contact, an electromagnet device including a coil wound on an iron core and a relay armature for actuating the contacts by energization of the coil, and lead-out terminals for the contacts and the coil. The bottom wall of the housing is formed with a downwardly-protruded expansion, and a recess is formed in the inner surface of the bottom wall corresponding to the expansion. The electromagnet relay-contact assembly is contained in the inner space of the housing in such a manner that the lower half of the coil is substantially placed within the recess. The lead-out terminals are extended downwardly through longitudinal flat portions connected with the expansion of the bottom wall.

The present invention is directed to a unique device for mounting electrical apparatus to a wall panel, wherein the device includes a main body portion having a cavity for holding components of the electrical apparatus and a pillar-shaped portion attached to the main body portion and extending through an opening in the wall panel. A free end of the pillar-shaped portion includes a plurality of outwardly protruding steps which overlap the wall panel, with a first set of the steps having a first axial length and a second set of the steps having a second, shorter axial length. A biasing member extends between the main body portion and the wall panel and biases the wall panel into contact with only the first set of steps, creating a gap between the wall panel and the second set of steps. A cover member surrounds the free end of the pillar-shaped portion and extends into the gap, with the second set of steps biasing the cover into contact with the wall panel.

Timing relay

A switch apparatus comprises at least one contact block which is adapted to be connected with other contact blocks similar thereto in multiple stages quickly and easily. Each contact block includes a casing, a connector for causing the contact block to mechanically engage the casing of another contact block similar in shape or a lamp transformer block, at least one electrical contact contained in the casing, and a contact actuator member for actuating the contact. The contact actuator member is supported movably between a first position where the contact is unactuated and a second position where it is actuated. The contact actuator member is normally urged to the first position by bias means such as springs. In assemblying the contact blocks, the contact actuator member may be selected from a group consisting of plural contact actuator members in various forms so as to actuate the contact blocks in upper and lower stages in either the same or different operation mode. The casing of each contact block may be electrically separately embedded with a pair of conductors or provided with a hollow pillar portion at the center thereof, so that the conductors may connect an indication lamp disposed on the top of the contact block to the output terminals of the lowest-stage transformer block or so that a lead-out member of the lowest-stage transformer block leading to an indication lamp may be inserted through the hollow portion of the casing to provide a simple indication lamp.
