Provided is a high Cr Ni-based alloy welding wire with which tensile strength and weld cracking resistance of a welded portion, the integrity of the microstructure of a welded metal, and inhibition of scale generation are improved. The high Cr Ni-based alloy welding wire is configured to have an alloy composition comprising, by mass, C: 0.04% or less, Mn: 7% or less, Fe: 1 to 12%, Si: 0.75% or less, Al: 0.01 to 0.7%, Ti: 0.01 to 0.7%, Cr: 25.0 to 31.5%, Ta: 1 to 10%, and Mo: 1 to 6%, and as inevitable impurities, Ca+Mg: less than 0.002%, N: 0.1% or less, P: 0.02% or less, O: 0.01% or less, S: 0.0015% or less, H: 0.0015% or less, Cu: 0.08% or less, and Co: 0.05% or less, and the balance: Ni. Then, the high CrNi-based alloy welding wire is configured such that the contents of S, Ta, Al, and Ti satisfy the following relation (1) and the contents of Ta, Mo, and N satisfy the following relation (2):12000S+0.58Ta&#x2212;2.6Al&#x2212;2Ti&#xa3;19.3&#x2003;&#x2003;(1)Ta+1.6Mo+187N5.7&#x2003;&#x2003;(2).

High Cr Ni-based alloy welding wire, shielded metal arc welding rod, and weld metal formed by shielded metal arc welding

The present invention provides a high Cr Ni-based alloy filler material of which weld cracking resistance can sufficiently be increased by suppressing generation of scales, and a welding rod for shielded metal arc welding that exhibits sufficiently increased weld cracking resistance. The high Cr Ni-based alloy filler material comprises, in percent by weight, C: 0.04% or less, Si: 0.01 to 0.5%, Mn: 7% or less, Cr: 28 to 31.5%, Nb: 0.5% or less, Ta: 0.005 to 3.0%, Fe: 7 to 11%, Al: 0.01 to 0.4%, Ti: 0.01 to 0.45%, V: 0.5% or less, and, as inevitable impurities, P: 0.02% or less, S: 0.015% or less, O: 0.01% or less, N: 0.002 to 0.1%, and the balance: Ni.

High Cr Ni-based alloy filler material and welding rod for shielded metal arc welding

The present invention provides a ferritic stainless steel welding wire which allows prevention of wire breaking, fine refining of crystal grains, and increased cracking resistance. A wire rod used essentially consists of, in mass %, 0.03% or less of C, 3% or less of B, 3% or less of Mn, 2% or less of Ni, 11 to 20% of Zr, 3% or less of Mo, 1% or less of Co, 2% or less of Cu, 0.02 to 2.0% of Al, 0.2 to 1.0% of Ti, 0.02% or less of O, 0.04% or less of N, at least one of Nb and Ta, the mass % thereof being eight times the total mass % of the C and N to 1.0 mass %, and the balance of Fe and unavoidable impurities. When the number of crystals per square mm (mm) of a cross section of the wire rod is defined as m, a grain number of the crystal expressed by an exponent (G) in an expression of m=8&#xd7;2is set to 3 to 10 by the heat treatment.

Ferritic stainless steel welding wire and manufacturing method thereof

A flux-contained welding wire is provided wherein a conductive core wire can be disposed without any complicate manufacturing steps performed on a metal outer layer. Flux is filled inside of the metal outer layer. The conductive core wire is disposed nearly in the center of the flux without being supported by the metal outer layer. The flux contains 20-80 weight % of metal powder. A weight % of the weight of the flux to the weight of the welding wire per unit length is set in a range of 6.5-30 weight %. The weight % of the weight of the conductive core wire to the weight of the welding wire per unit length is set in a range of 1.5-15 weight %.

The improved filler metal for use in the welding of Ni&mdash;Cr&mdash;W alloys that are excellent in high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance and which are used in the hot-zone structures of high-temperature gas-cooled reactors, gas turbines, etc comprises on a mass basis C&lE;0.05%, Mn&lE;0.1%, Si&lE;0.1% (Mn&plus;Si&lE;0.1%), Cr&equals;17-20%, W&equals;20-23% (Cr&plus;W&equals;39-43%), Ti&equals;0.02-0.1%, Zr&lE;0.03%, Y&lE;0.015%, B&equals;0.0003-0.01%, Al&lE;0.1%, Mg&lE;0.05%, Nb&lE;0.06% (10Zr&plus;10B&plus;5Nb&plus;2Y&lE;0.3%), the balance being Ni and incidental impurities.

Filler metal for use in welding of Ni-Cr-W alloys

An object of the present invention is to provide a weld material which contains 8 to 13% Cr, and can be used with the GMA welding method, a GMA welding method which has superior arc stability and can provide a welded material having superior properties, and a welded structure; in order to attain this object, a weld material is provided, which contains in weight, 0.01 to 0.15% C, 0.1 to 0.6% Si, 0.1 to 2.0% Mn, 8 to 13% Cr, 0.1 to 1.5% Ni, 0.3 to 2.0% Mo, 0.05 to 0.5% V, 0.08 to 0.5% W, 0.5 to 5.0% Co, 0.1 to 0.5% Ta, &lE;0.08 N, 0.01 to 0.1% REMs, and consisting of the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.

Weld material, gas metal arc welding method, and welded structure

A filler for welding a heat-resistant nickel-base alloy is disclosed. The filler comprises heat-resistant nickel-base alloy and an additive of 0.003 to 0.015 wt % boron based on the total weight of the filler metal. The filler may further comprise an other additive such as zirconium in the total amount of those two elements of 0.015 to 0.15 wt %, and the filler may further comprise the other additives such as lanthanum and cellium in the total amount of those fine elements of 0.018 to 0.15 wt % based on the total weight of the filler. The disclosed filler has improved creep properties at high temperatures and can be obtained without the defects inherent to conventional filler of heat-resistant nickel-base alloys.
