Methods, systems, and devices for a functional cover are described. A removable cover (e.g., a functional cover) for a wearable ring device (e.g., a ring wearable) may include one or more electrical components positioned at least partially within the removable cover. The removable cover may further include a first electrical component exposed to an external surface of the removable cover, the first electrical component configured to contact (e.g., physical and electrically contact) a second electrical component of the wearable ring device, such as when the removable cover is in a mounted state on the wearable ring device. The first electrical component may be further configured to transfer electrical current, data, or both, between the one or more electrical components of the removable cover and one or more additional electrical components of the wearable ring device.

Functional cover for ring wearable

Methods, systems, and devices for manufacturing a wearable device are described. A method for manufacturing a wearable device may include coupling a printed circuit board (PCB) to an inner ring-shaped housing that contains a plurality of apertures by aligning a plurality of sensors of the PCB with the plurality of apertures. The method may also include coupling an outer ring-shaped housing to the inner ring-shaped housing by surrounding the inner ring-shaped housing with the outer ring-shaped housing. Additionally, the method may include injecting a filler material through an additional aperture of the outer ring-shaped housing to fill a cavity defined by the inner ring-shaped housing and the outer ring-shaped housing, filling at least a portion of the plurality of the inner ring-shaped housing with the filler material.

Process for manufacturing wearable ring form factor

Methods, systems, and devices for optical signal measurement are described. A wearable electronic device may activate a first combination of optical sensors, the first combination of optical sensors including a set of transmitter sensors and a set of receiver sensors. In some cases, one or more optical sensor of the first combination of optical sensors may be positioned under a protrusion on an inner surface of the wearable electronic device. The device may measure, at the set of receiver sensors at a first time, one or more signals from the set of transmitter sensors, determine a signal quality metric associated with the one or more signals, and select a second combination of optical sensors for use at a second time based on the signal quality metric.

Configurable photoplethysmogram system

An apparatus for a wearable device including a locking mechanism for components of the wearable device is described. A wearable ring device may include a ring-shaped housing configured to house one or more sensors configured to acquire physiological data from a user, and a flexible printed circuit board (PCB) including electrical circuitry for the one or more sensors. The wearable ring device may include one or more locking grooves disposed within an interior surface of the ring-shaped housing, the one or more locking grooves configured to receive the flexible PCB and maintain a gap between an inner circumferential surface of the ring-shaped housing and a first surface of the flexible PCB.

Locking mechanism for wearable device components

Methods, systems, and devices for a functional cover are described. A removable cover (e.g., a functional cover) for a wearable ring device (e.g., a ring wearable) may include one or more electrical components positioned at least partially within the removable cover. In some cases, the functional cover may wireless connect with the ring wearable. The removable cover may further include a first inductive component within the removable cover, where the first inductive component is configured to wirelessly communicate with a second inductive component of the wearable ring device when the removable cover is in a mounted state on the wearable ring device. The first inductive component of the removable cover may be configured to transfer electrical current, data, or both, between the one or more electrical components of the removable cover and one or more additional electrical components of the wearable ring device.

Functional cover with wireless connection for ring wearable

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless charger are described. A charging device may include a base configured to receive a ring-shaped wearable device in multiple radial orientations relative to the base. The charging device may also include a magnetic component configured to magnetically attract a magnetic component of the ring-shaped wearable device to orient the wearable device in a single radial orientation relative to the base. The charging device may include an inductive charging component that may wireless charge the wearable device via an inductive charging component of the wearable device based on the inductive charging components being within a threshold distance.

Universal charger

A wearable device is described. The wearable device may be constructed of one or more flexible materials, and may be referred to as a flexible wearable device. The flexible wearable device may include a flexible housing that is made of a material that is elastically deformable, where the flexible housing at least partially surrounds components of the flexible wearable device. The flexible housing may include apertures disposed within the surface of the flexible housing to enable light to be transmitted and received through the flexible housing. The flexible wearable device may also include a printed circuit board (PCB) disposed within the flexible housing (e.g., within a cavity formed by the flexible housing). The PCB may include sensors configured to acquire physiological data from a user by transmitting light and receiving light through the apertures. The PCB may be constructed of flexible regions that are elastically deformable.

A wearable electronic device includes a body part made of a non-ceramic material, having an inner surface and an outer surface, wherein at least one cavity having a depth is arranged on the inner surface of the body part, an electronic part arranged in the at least one cavity, which electronic part has a thickness that is less than the depth of the at least one cavity, and a coating made of a moldable filler material on the inner surface of the body part, covering the electronic part and the at least one cavity.

Wearable electronic device and method for manufacturing thereof

A wearable electronic device including a molded body part made of a moldable ceramic material, having an inner surface, an outer surface, and at least one cavity having a depth arranged on the inner surface of the body part, an electronic part arranged in the cavity, which electronic part has a thickness that is less than the depth of the cavity, and a coating made of an epoxy material on the inner surface of the body part, covering the electronic part and the cavity.
