Provided is a multi-layered non-woven wound dressing produced by a method including steps of: preparing multiple natural polymeric layers; stacking the multiple natural polymeric layers to form a polymeric structure; preparing multiple natural polymeric threads; and stitching the polymeric structure with the natural polymeric threads to enforce a formed multi-layered non-woven wound dressing and continuous crossing lines to enforce the formed multi-layered non-woven wound dressing to reinforce its longitudinal and transversal tensile strength for a pre-set period of degradation in wound.

Wound dressing

A method for fabricating a bandage comprises the following steps: preparing multiple complex yarns each comprising chitosan fibers and rayon fibers; (b) weaving solely the multiple complex yarns to form a preformed bandage; (c) immersing the preformed bandage in an acid alcohol, and then washing the preformed bandage by alcohol to obtain an alcohol-washed bandage; and, (d) heating the alcohol-washed bandage to obtain the bandage. The bandage related to the method is comprised of complex yarns, wherein each of the complex yarns is composed of chitosan fibers and rayon fibers. By means of immersing the preformed bandage into an acid alcohol, the bandage thus obtained has enhanced tensile strength, decreased dissolution rate and reduced hemolytic dose.

Bandage and method of producing the same

A method for fabricating natural polymer yarn comprises the following steps: (a) forming a natural polymeric long fiber by wet spinning or electro spinning from a natural polymer solution; (b) combining the natural polymeric long fiber and at least one polymeric fiber by a false twist texturing process to form a natural polymeric yarn. A natural polymer yarn relates to the method. A natural polymer fabric includes said natural polymer yarn. A method of using said natural polymer fabric for medical dressing. By means of a false twist texturing process, the natural polymer yarn with enhanced tensile strength and elongation could reduce the drawback of conventional wound dressing products which lack strength and stretchiness in a wet condition.
