Systems and methods may be used for presenting motion feedback for an orthopedic patient. In an example, images may be captured of a patient in motion attempting to perform a task, for example after completion of an orthopedic surgery on the patient. The images may be analyzed to generate a movement metric of the patient corresponding to the task. The movement metric may be compared to a baseline metric (e.g., an average metric or a previous patient metric) for the task. An indication of the comparison may be presented, for example including a qualitative result of the comparison.

A surgical sensor system for collecting internal patient data comprises a sensor module comprising a housing and a sensor disposed within the housing, and an attachment device comprising a socket for receiving the housing and an exterior anchor feature for attaching the attachment device to biological matter. A method of implanting a sensor module for use with an orthopedic implant device comprises making an insertion portal in anatomy of a patient, positioning a sensor module in the anatomy in a first position relative to the insertion portal, and positioning an orthopedic implant in the anatomy in a second position relative to the insertion portal such that the orthopedic implant is separate from the sensor module.

Systems and methods may use a mobile device communicatively coupled to a wearable device to present an exercise to a user. The systems and methods may modify a therapy calendar, for example, based on information determined from the exercise (e.g., repetitions completed, a duration completed, video, etc.), feedback from the user, or the like. A method may include receiving a control command from a wearable device communicatively coupled to a mobile device, the control command causing an action to be taken by the mobile device related to the exercise. The therapy calendar may be automatically modified, such as in response to determining a number of repetitions or a duration of an exercise. The modified therapy calendar may be presented on a user interface, such as on a display of the wearable device or the mobile device.

Systems and methods for displaying augmented reality clinical movements may use an augmented reality device to display aspects of a clinical movement. The systems and methods may use a motion capture device to capture the clinical movement. A method may include analyzing information about the clinical movement to determine a path of motion representative of at least a portion of the clinical movement. The method may automatically define a path region or a virtual target in an augmented reality environment overlaid on a real environment. The method may display the path region or the virtual target on an augmented reality display.
