Systems and methods provide a system that gathers information about data as it progresses through data processing pipelines of data analysis projects. The data analytics system derives value indicators and implicit metadata from the data processing pipelines. For example, the data analytics system may derive value indicators and implicit metadata from data-related products themselves, semantic analysis of the code/processing steps used to process the data-related products, the structure of data processing pipelines, and human behavior related to production and usage of data-related products. Once a new data analysis project is initiated, the data analytics system gathers parameters and characteristics about the new data analysis project and references the value indicators and implicit metadata to recommend useful processing steps, datasets, and/or other data-related products for the new data analysis project.

Examples described herein are generally directed to facilitating access to container state through multiple protocols. According to an example, a distributed state store is provided in which container state is accessible by multiple client containers via nodes of the distributed state store across which the container state is replicated. Responsive to receipt from a first client container of a storage request via a first application programming interface (API) method of the distributed state store that is associated with a first protocol, the container state is stored within the distributed state store. Responsive to receipt from a second client container of an access request via a second API method of the distributed state store that is associated with a second protocol, the container state is returned to the second client container via the second protocol.

Distributed state store supporting multiple protocols

In some examples, a system groups a plurality of blocks of encoded data into first segments, each first segment comprising multiple blocks of the plurality of blocks, and the encoded data being based on application of erasure correction coding on input data. The system stores the first segments in respective failure domains of a first quantity of failure domains in a first erasure correction configuration, where the first erasure correction configuration enables error recovery in response to lost encoded data in a specified number of failure domains. The system changes from the first erasure correction configuration to a second erasure correction configuration by reorganizing the first segments into second segments, each second segment comprising a different quantity of blocks of encoded data than a first segment.
