A submodule includes a power pack including a plurality of switching modules, first and second input bus bars connected with the switching modules to protrude toward a first outside of the power pack and a bypass switch provided at the first outside of the power pack and coupled to the first and second input bus bars.

Submodule

An apparatus of sliding a submodule includes a sliding rail part installed on one side of a cabinet; a submodule capable of being entered into or withdrawn from the cabinet; and a sliding guide part installed at one side of the submodule and slidingly moved by the sliding rail part. The sliding rail part may include a rail body, first and second extending parts extending from opposite ends of the rail body, and first and second sliding rails connected to the first and second extending parts respectively and protruding toward the sliding guide part.

Apparatus of sliding submodule

A bypass switch includes: a casing; a vacuum interrupter disposed inside the casing, the vacuum interrupter being disposed such that a movable contact is movable to a fixed contact; a first fixing bus-bar fixed to the casing; a second fixing bus-bar fixed to the casing to be spaced apart from the first fixing bus-bar; a moving pusher connected to the movable contact; a drive source installed in the casing, the drive source pushing the moving pusher to a position at which the movable contact and the fixed contact are contacted with each other; and a multi-contactor disposed to be contacted with the moving pusher. Accordingly, the moving pusher can rapidly contact the movable contact with the fixed contact. Further, the moving pusher can be moved with a small external force. Thus, it is possible to minimize the size of the drive source and the power used in the drive source.

Bypass switch

A bypass switch for high voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission is provided. The bypass switch includes a housing, a fixed contactor disposed in the housing and electrically connected to a first portion of a HVDC transmission circuit, a movable contactor movably disposed in the housing at a position spaced apart from the fixed contactor and electrically connected to a second portion of the HVDC transmission circuit, an insulation member coupled to a side of the movable contactor, an explosive actuator disposed at one side of the insulation member and exploded according to an electrical signal, and a piston mechanism which is moved by the force of gas generated due to the explosion of the explosive actuator, applies force to move the insulation member, and allows the fixed contactor and movable contactor to be electrically connected to each other.

Bypass switch for HVDC transmission

Provided is a synthetic test circuit for synthetic-testing a thyristor valve in high voltage direct current (HVDC). A resonant circuit applies forward DC current, a reverse DC voltage, and a forward DC voltage to synthetic-test the thyristor valve. A current generation unit generates DC current that is above a reference current value to supply the generated DC current into the resonant circuit. A voltage generates unit generating a DC voltage that is above a reference voltage value to supply the generated DC voltage into the resonant circuit. The resonant circuit includes a charging auxiliary valve for charging a gate driver of the thyristor valve.
