A laser radar system capable of active polarization comprises a signal processing unit for sending a control signal; a laser emitting unit for emitting a first laser to a target after receiving the control signal, wherein the laser emitting unit comprises a liquid crystal polarization driver and a liquid crystal polarization component group, and the liquid crystal polarization driver controls a phase delay of the liquid crystal polarization component group to therefore change a polarized state of the first laser; and a laser receiving unit for receiving a second laser reflected off the target and analyzing polarization information of the second laser through the signal processing unit to evaluate surface characteristics of the target.

Laser radar system capable of active polarization

A blue light leakage-suppressing LED structure for emitting white light includes at least one LED chip, an encapsulation element, a light output lens, and an optical fuse coating formed of a thermosensitive material; or includes at least one LED chip and an encapsulation element formed of a mixture of an encapsulation material and a thermosensitive material; or includes at least one blue LED chip, a fluorescent powder layer, an isolation region, an optical fuse layer, and a light output lens. Thanks to the hue changing property of the thermosensitive material, the LED structure can reduce the intensity of its short-wavelength light component and its overall brightness significantly before reaching the L70 threshold, after passing which the LED structure will emit excessive blue light. Thus, the user is protected from overexposure to blue light and will be reminded to replace the LED structure when the LED structure is about to malfunction.

Blue light leakage-suppressing LED structure

A highly adaptive thermal properties measurement system and measuring method thereof, for measuring various thermal property values of a device under test without actually lighting up the device under test, are disclosed. The measurement system includes a light source unit, a light modulation module, a holding unit, a thermal reflection unit, a thermal signal capture unit, and a control and computation unit. A light field provided from the light source unit is first modulated by the light modulation module for its distribution of intensity, and then illuminates on the device under test such that the device under test is heated in a specific mode so as to simulate a temperature distribution of the device under test in a state of continuous operation. Further, the control and computation unit computes various thermal property values of the device under test based on a top-surface thermal signal and a bottom-surface thermal signal captured by the thermal signal capture unit.

Highly adaptive thermal properties measurement system and measuring method thereof

A volume Bragg grating (VBG) has a narrow wavelength. The wavelength is changed by changing an angle of the VBG or a temperature of the VBG. Thus, the present invention has a narrow wavelength, a bright laser, a simple system and an adjustable reflection for a wide application to laser systems.
