A stereoscopic display method includes generating a left-eye crosstalk parameter according to left-eye image data and right-eye image data; generating a right-eye crosstalk parameter according to the left-eye image data and the right-eye image data; generating calibrated left-eye image data according to the left-eye image data, the right-eye image data, the left-eye crosstalk parameter, and the right-eye crosstalk parameter; generating calibrated right-eye image data according to the left-eye image data, the right-eye image data, the left-eye crosstalk parameter, and the right-eye crosstalk parameter; and displaying the calibrated left-eye image data and the calibrated right-eye image data on a display apparatus.

The active array substrate includes a plurality of first strip electrodes and second strip electrodes. The sum of one width of the first stripe electrode and one pitch between two adjacent first stripe electrodes is greater than that of one width of the second strip electrode and one pitch between two adjacent second strip electrodes.

Active array substrate, liquid crystal display panel and method for driving the same

A pixel structure electrically connected to a scan line and a data line is provided. The pixel structure includes an active device and a pixel electrode, wherein the active device is electrically connected to the scan line and the data line, and the pixel electrode is electrically connected to the active device. The pixel electrode has a plurality of strip-shaped slit groups. Each of the strip-shaped slit groups includes a plurality of strip-shaped slits whose extending directions are substantially parallel to each other, and contours of at least parts of the strip-shaped slits are non-isosceles trapezoids.

Pixel structure

A method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display panel including the steps is provided. A semi-finished liquid crystal display panel including a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer, an opposing electrode, scan lines, data lines, polymerizable molecules, pixel structures, first capacitor bottom electrodes, and second capacitor bottom electrodes is provided. Each pixel structure has a first pixel electrode and a second pixel electrode, and the blocks of the liquid crystal layer corresponding to the first pixel electrodes and the second pixel electrodes are respectively a plurality of first blocks and a plurality of second blocks. Then, a first voltage difference and a second voltage difference are respectively formed in the first blocks and the second blocks respectively, wherein the first voltage difference is different from the second voltage difference. Accordingly, the polymerizable molecules are polymerized to form the liquid crystal display panel.

Manufacturing method of liquid crystal display panel

A liquid crystal display panel including a first substrate, a liquid crystal layer, an alignment layer, a polymer layer, scan lines, data lines, pixel structures, first capacitor bottom electrodes and second capacitor bottom electrodes, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. Each pixel structure has a first pixel electrode and a second pixel electrode. Each first capacitor bottom electrode is disposed between the first pixel electrode and the first substrate. Each second capacitor bottom electrode disposed between the second pixel electrode and the first substrate includes a first pattern and a plurality of second patterns. The first pattern extends from a first side to an opposite second side of the second pixel electrode. The second patterns connected to the first pattern are disposed on the first side and the second side. The second pattern at least partly overlaps a region between the second pixel electrode and the data line.

Liquid crystal display panel and manufacturing method thereof

An array panel is provided. The array panel includes a substrate, a common electrode, and pixel structures. Each pixel structure includes a first pixel electrode, a second pixel electrode, and a shield. The first pixel electrode has a central portion, first branches that connect to the central portion, and a connecting portion. The shield overlaps with at least the central portion of the first pixel electrode. The connecting portion connects the ends of at least two of the first branches. The central portion connects perpendicularly with one of the first branches; this branch overlaps with at least part of the common electrode so that the width of this branch is greater than or equal to that of the common electrode. The second pixel electrode, adjacent to the first pixel electrode, comprises a central portion and second branches that connect to the central portion.

A liquid crystal display (LCD) panel including a first substrate, a plurality of scan lines, a plurality of data lines, a plurality of pixel structures, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer is provided. The scan lines, data lines, and pixel structures are disposed on the first substrate. The pixel structures are electrically connected to the corresponding scan lines and data lines. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first and the second substrates. Each pixel structure includes a first active device, a first pixel electrode electrically connected to the first active device, and a second pixel electrode. A V-shaped main slit formed between the first and the second pixel electrodes has a tip and two branches connected thereto. The tip of the V-shaped main slit directs towards the second pixel electrode. The edges of the first and the second pixel electrodes adjoining each branch are substantially parallel.

A thin film transistor (TFT) substrate including a base, a plurality of scan lines and data lines and a pixel unit is provided. The scan lines are disposed on the base. The data lines are disposed above the scan lines and are perpendicular to the scan lines to define a plurality of pixel areas. The first main electrode is perpendicular to the second main electrode. The branch electrodes are connected to the first main electrode and/or the second main electrode. A pixel structure disposed on a substrate is provided. The pixel structure includes a first and a second capacitor electrode, a dielectric layer, a passivation layer, a pixel electrode, and an active device. The first capacitor electrode is disposed on the substrate and has a first notch. The dielectric layer covers the first capacitor electrode, and the second capacitor electrode is disposed on the dielectric layer above the first capacitor electrode. The passivation layer is disposed on the dielectric layer to cover the second capacitor electrode, and the passivation layer has a contact opening above the first notch for exposing a part of the second capacitor electrode. The pixel electrode is disposed on the passivation layer and is electrically connected to the second capacitor electrode through the contact opening.
