An electronic apparatus and method for determining a reset thereof are provided. The electronic apparatus includes a switch, a sensor, a reset circuitry and a control circuitry. The switch generates a trigger signal as being triggered. The sensor senses a property of an object or an environment external to the electronic apparatus and to provide a sensing information based on the sensed property. The reset circuitry is coupled to the switch and counts from an initial value to a predetermined value when keep receiving the trigger signal from the switch, wherein the reset circuitry further resets the electronic apparatus when counting to the predetermined value. The control circuitry is coupled to the switch, the sensor and the reset circuit and generates a control signal, based on the sensing information, for controlling the reset circuit to re-count from the initial value to the predetermined value.

Electronic apparatus and method for determining a reset thereof

An electronic device and a corresponding touch-sensing method are provided. The electronic device includes a display module integrated with a first touch sensor, a second touch sensor, and a sense circuitry. The first touch sensor generates a first sensing signal in response to a first driving signal. The second touch sensor generates a second sensing signal in response to a second driving signal. The sense circuitry is coupled to the first and the second touch sensors. The sense circuitry receives and analyzes the first sensing signal and the second sensing signal.

Electronic device and touch-sensing method

An electronic device and a touch display panel of the electronic device are provided. The touch display panel receives a touch driving signal and generates a sense signal in response to the touch driving signal, wherein the sense signal is analyzed to calculate a touch position on the touch display. The touch display panel includes a transmitting circuit and a grounding electrode. The transmitting circuit distributes the touch driving signal in the touch display panel. The grounding electrode is disposed over the transmitting circuit and at least partially covers the transmitting circuit, wherein the grounding electrode is a grounded conductor.

Touch display and electronic device

A touch panel including a substrate, first connecting pads, circuit units, and ground lines is provided. Each circuit unit includes a signal line, first electrodes, second electrodes, first connecting lines, and second connecting lines. The signal line extends along a first direction and includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is located between a first side of the substrate and the second portion. The first electrodes are disposed beside the first portion, and the second electrodes are disposed beside the second portion. The first connecting lines respectively connect the first electrodes to the corresponding first connecting pads. The second connecting lines respectively connect the second electrodes to the corresponding first connecting pads through a trace region located beside the first portion, wherein the trace region and the first electrodes are respectively located at two opposite sides of the first portion.

Touch panel

An electronic apparatus and a method thereof are provided. The electronic apparatus includes a signal detection module and a power adjustment module. The signal detection module detects a received signal quality of a first wireless communication system. The power adjustment module is coupled to the signal detection module, and adjusts an output power in a second wireless communication system according to the received signal quality, so as to enlarge service coverage of the electronic apparatus in the second wireless communication system.

Electronic apparatus and power adjustment method thereof

A communication system is provided. A first device includes a first capacitive touch panel module. A second device includes a second capacitive touch panel module. A first overlapping area is formed when the second capacitive touch panel module of the second device is near to or contacts with the first capacitive touch panel module of the first device. The second device obtains data from the first device according to an electric field variation of the first overlapping area.

Communication method for capacitive touch panel

A capacitive touch panel and operating and fabrication methods thereof. The capacitive touch panel has a plurality of transmitter electrodes and a plurality of receiver electrodes. An electric field is formed by the receiver electrodes and the powered one of the transmitter electrodes. The changes, caused by the touch of a user, in the electric field are used in touch recognition. The receiver electrodes are all in a fork shape. For one receiver electrode, the teeth are spaced in a first distance. Note that adjacent teeth from different and adjacent electrodes are spaced apart by another distance. The second distance is greater than the first distance.

Capacitive touch panel and recognition method and fabrication method thereof

An electronic device and a method for scanning a touch panel of the electronic device are provided. The electronic device includes a touch panel and a control circuitry. The touch panel includes a plurality of touch sensors. The control circuitry is coupled to the touch panel. The control circuitry charges each of the touch sensors according to a preset charge period of the touch sensor and detects the maximum difference in charge characteristics of the touch sensors. The control circuitry adjusts the preset charge periods of the touch sensors according to the charge characteristics of the touch sensors and a preset limit of the preset charge periods of the touch sensors when the maximum difference is higher than a preset threshold.

Electronic device and method for scanning a touch panel thereof

A touch panel includes a substrate and sensing units. Each sensing unit includes an electrode line, first electrode patterns, second electrode patterns and connecting lines. The electrode line extends along a second direction and has first openings arranged along the second direction and first breaches corresponding to the first openings. Each first breach connects the corresponding first opening and the exterior of the electrode line. The first electrode patterns are respectively disposed in the first openings. Each first electrode pattern has a second opening and a second breach connecting the second opening and the exterior of first electrode pattern. The second electrode patterns are respectively disposed in the second openings and respectively connected with the electrode line through the second breaches. The connecting lines are disposed on at least one side of the electrode line and connected with the corresponding first electrode pattern through the first breach.

A communication channel setting method and a communication channel selection method for an electronic device are provided. The communication channel setting method measures the interference between two communication protocols implemented on the same electronic device and stores threshold values and a look-up table obtained from the measurements in the electronic device. Next, the electronic device executes the channel selection method. The channel selection method selects usable channels of one of the two communication protocols according to the threshold values and the look-up table, thereby preventing or alleviating the interference between the communication protocols.
