A touch display panel is provided, including a common electrode ring, a first and a second common electrode pattern, pixel structures, an edge common signal line, and common signal lines disposed on a substrate. The first and second common electrode patterns and the pixel structures are located in a region surrounded by the common electrode ring. The first common electrode pattern is spaced from the second common electrode pattern by a gap. The first and the second common electrode patterns respectively overlap some of the pixel structures. The edge common signal line is disposed on the substrate, traces along the gap, and extends toward the common electrode ring to be electrically connected to the common electrode ring. The first common electrode pattern overlaps and is electrically connected to one common signal line. The second common electrode pattern overlaps and is electrically connected to another common signal line.

Touch display panel

A pixel structure and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The pixel structure includes a substrate, a scan line, a data line, a first insulating layer, an active device, a second insulating layer, a common electrode and a first pixel electrode. The data line crossed to the scan line is disposed on the substrate and includes a linear transmitting part and a cross-line transmitting part. The first insulating layer covering the scan line and the linear transmitting part is disposed between the scan line and the cross-line transmitting part. The active device, including a gate, an oxide channel, a source and a drain, is connected to the scan line and the data line. The second insulating layer is disposed on the oxide channel and the linear transmitting part. The common electrode is disposed above the linear transmitting part. The first pixel electrode is connected to the drain.

Manufacturing method of pixel structure with data line, scan line and gate electrode formed on the same layer

A display panel is provided. The display panel has a display area and a peripheral area and includes a plurality of pixels, a plurality of data lines and a plurality of signal traces. The pixels are disposed on the display area and arranged in an array. The data lines extend from the display area to the peripheral area and are respectively electrically connected to a plurality of columns of pixel. The signal traces extend from the display area to the peripheral area and are parallel to the data lines. In addition, the data lines and the signal traces are respectively disposed between two columns of pixels, and the signal traces include a plurality of gate signal traces.

Pixel structure with data line, scan line and gate electrode formed on the same layer and manufacturing method thereof

A display panel, which has a display region and a non-display region, includes an active array substrate and an opposite substrate disposed opposite to the active array substrate. The active array substrate includes a substrate, a pixel array, and a driving circuit. The pixel array and the driving circuit are disposed on the substrate, wherein the pixel array is located in the display region and the driving circuit is located in the non-display region. The driving circuit includes a first transparent electrode layer, a second transparent electrode layer, and a dielectric layer. The dielectric layer is located between the first transparent electrode layer and the second transparent electrode layer, wherein the first transparent electrode layer and the second transparent electrode layer are electrically coupled to each other to form at least one transparent capacitor.

An array substrate structure of a display panel includes a substrate, a plurality of first wirings, a first patterned insulating layer, a plurality of second wirings, a plurality of first protective patterns, and a plurality of second protective patterns. The substrate has a wiring region. The first wirings are disposed in the wiring region. The first patterned insulating layer is disposed on the first wirings. The second wirings are disposed on the first patterned insulating layer. The first protective patterns are disposed in the wiring region and disposed on the corresponding second wiring, respectively, where the first protective pattern includes a semiconductor material. The second protective patterns are disposed on the corresponding first protective pattern, respectively, where the second protective pattern includes an inorganic insulating material.

Array substrate structure of display panel and method of making the same

A panel is disclosed, in which, a patterned semiconductor layer is formed on an insulation layer. The patterned semiconductor layer includes a portion corresponding to an electrode and another portion corresponding to a wiring trace. The portion corresponding to the electrode may be formed as, for example, a channel, and the other portion corresponding to the wiring trace may protect the wiring trace during fabrication process or in the structure from scratching or corrosion.

A driving circuit and a common electrode are located within a sealant region of the first substrate, wherein the driving circuit includes switch devices and turn-line structures. The common electrode is located within the sealant region of the first substrate. The planar layer is located on the first substrate, wherein the thickness of the planar layer at the turn-line structure of the driving circuit is less than the thicknesses of other portions. The conductive layer is located on the planar layer. A second substrate having an electrode thereon is disposed opposite to the first substrate. A liquid crystal layer is located within the display region between the first substrate and the second substrate. A sealant is located within the sealant region between the first substrate and the second substrate, and conductive balls are distributed in the sealant.

A pixel structure of a display panel is provided. The pixel structure includes a first storage capacitor formed by a pixel electrode and a common electrode pattern, and a second storage capacitor formed by an electrode pattern and the common electrode pattern. Accordingly, the storage capacitance is greatly improved without sacrificing the aperture ratio, or the aperture ratio is improved by reducing the area of the storage capacitor while the storage capacitance is maintained.

Pixel structure of display panel and method of making the same

A pixel structure disposed on a substrate includes a gate, a patterned dielectric layer, a patterned semiconductor layer, a patterned metal layer, an overcoat layer and a transparent pixel electrode. The patterned dielectric layer and the gate covered thereby are disposed on the substrate. The patterned semiconductor layer on the patterned dielectric layer includes bumps and a channel above the gate. The patterned metal layer includes a source, a drain and a reflective pixel electrode connecting the drain. The source and the drain cover a portion of the channel. The reflective pixel electrode covers the bumps. The gate, the patterned dielectric layer, the patterned semiconductor layer and the patterned metal layer form a transistor on which the overcoat layer has a contact hole exposing a portion of the reflective pixel electrode. The transparent pixel electrode on the overcoat layer electrically connects the reflective pixel electrode through the contact hole.
