Disclosed is a snap fastener, comprising a face fastener () and a locating fastener () which are snapped with each other, wherein the face fastener () comprises a face shell () provided with an installation chamber (), and a locating pin () made of plastic and integrally formed; and the locating pin () comprises a base (), a rod body () and anti-rotation protrusions (). In the implementation of the snap fastener of the present invention, the face fastener () can be separated into the face shell () and the locating pin (), and the locating pin () is manufactured into a standard part for batch production and storage, thereby adapting face shells () with continuously updated designs, shortening delivery time, and reducing costs.

Snap fastener

A pull tab is formed by a cord having a cord retaining member at one end and a plug at the other end. The plug has a flap connected to one end, the flap having an open position where the flap is connected to the plug only at one end of the flap, and a closed position where the entire flap is secured to the plug. The cord retaining member has first and second channels therethrough, with the second channel being larger than the first channel. When the flap is open, the plug fits though both the first and second channels, and when the flap is closed, the plug fits only within the second channel. The pull tab is assembled by feeding the plug through the channels, moving the flap to the closed position and pulling the plug back through the second channel until the plug is seated in the second channel.

One-piece pull tab

A pull tab for zippers is formed by a cord having a cord retaining member attached to one end of the cord and a plug attached to other end of the cord. The cord retaining member has an internal cavity, a first aperture on a proximal end next to the cord and a second aperture on a distal end. The cavity and first and second apertures are sized so that when the cord is wrapped around the plug, the plug fits through the second aperture and cavity but does not fit through the first aperture. The pull tab is assembled by feeding the plug through a zipper tab and then the first aperture, the cavity and the second aperture, wrapping the cord around the plug, and pulling the cord to force the plug with the cord wrapping back into the cavity.

A molding process for creating a decorative pull has two separate molding steps. In the first molding step, a first top mold portion, and a bottom mold portion are used. The bottom mold portion has a mold compartment with an indentation in the bottom. An end of a soft string is placed in this compartment with the end disposed over the indentation. The first top mold portion is closed over the bottom mold portion and molding material is injected. The molding material enters the mold cavity and flows into the indentation to cover the ends of the string entirely, to create a first molded component. A second top mold portion is then placed over the bottom mold potion and molding material is then injected into the second mold cavity formed by the second top mold portion to cover the first molded component and create a molded pull for use on zippers or other items.

Method for molding a decorative zipper pull and mold for a zipper pull

A method for producing a single-sided mold and a double-sided coining mold are provided. The method comprises the following steps: S1. forming a mold cavity on the single-sided mold according to shape of a product; S2. engraving a surface of the mold cavity by a first engraving and milling cutter to form engraved holes, and then inserting a second engraving and milling cutter into the engraved holes for further engraving to form holes to be coined; S3. repeating the step S2 until a predefined number of the holes to be coined are formed on the surface of the mold cavity; S4. placing a coining die with hardened tips on the surface of the mold cavity, and embedding each of the hardened tips into one of the holes to be coined respectively, and then the mold cavity being molded by a coining process.

Method for producing single-sided mold and double-sided coining mold thereof

A pull tab for zippers is formed by a cord having a cord retaining member attached to one end of the cord and a socket in the top surface of the cord retaining member, and a plug attached to other end of the cord. The plug has a shape corresponding to the shape of the socket, so that the plug can fit securely within the socket, thus, forming a loop with the cord. A slidable locking device is placed around the cord, the locking device having an interior cavity corresponding to the shape of the cord retaining member, such that placing the plug into the socket and sliding the locking device over the cord retaining member locks the second end of the cord to the cord retaining member. In a method for manufacturing the pull tab, the plug and cord retaining member are continuously overmolded in one piece on a length of the cord, and then cut into pieces to form completed pull tabs.
