A method of locating mobile assets in an environment using a wireless sensing system, comprising deploying a plurality of tape nodes in the environment, at least a portion of the tape nodes each associated with a respective mobile asset; detecting and storing location, status and movement data of the mobile assets using the plurality of tape nodes; and processing the stored location, status and movement data to determine if the asset is being used, is in storage or is misplaced.

Managing assets and performance using wireless sensing systems

A tracking device comprises a flexible belt body configured to loop around a portion of a pallet, e.g., around a center stringer of a pallet. The flexible belt body has a first portion and a second portion configured to be connected. The tracking device further comprises a first region having one or more sensitive electronic components and a second region having one or more durable electronic components and/or electronic components that benefit from exposure during transportation. The tracking device is positioned on the portion of the pallet such that the first region is oriented towards an interior of the pallet and the second region is oriented towards an exterior of the pallet.

Various systems and methods for providing a tool to entities that determines the optimal usage of data items are disclosed. For example, the tool can generate a model that uses various characteristics to predict how likely it is that a viewer will watch (or listen to) the media program being promoted. The model can then determine an increase in revenue that would result from the assignment of a media promo using the predicted likelihood and subtracting a known opportunity cost from this determined revenue increase to determine a net revenue value. The model can repeat this determination for any number of viewers and aggregate the determined net revenue values to generate an aggregated net revenue value. The tool may include a user interface in which a content provider can adjust various variables to see how adjusting one or more variables affects the aggregated net revenue value.
