An automatic yarn end finding device for a spinning bobbin comprising a conveyor belt for transporting a spinning bobbin fitted on a peg tray, a gate-shaped suction tube which is located intermediate the passage of a spinning bobbin and which can be passed by a spinning bobbin, a rotary cutter located at one of a pair of base portions of the suction tube for releasing and cutting a tail portion of spinning yarn on a spinning bobbin, a stopper also located at the one base portion of the suction tube for stopping a spinning bobbin which has come to a position opposing to the rotary cutter, and a rotational driving device for driving a spinning bobbin stopped by the stopper to rotate.

A method and apparatus for exchanging exhausted roving bobbins for full packaged roving bobbins applied to a conventional ring spinning frame provided with at least one roving supply rail arranged at a position in front of the spinning frame, at each side thereof, wherein a unit operation for exchanging exhausted roving bobbins suspended by front and back bobbin hangers, facing each other on a creel, for full packaged roving bobbins previously carried to the predetermined supply positions thereof on this supply rail, is carried out stepwisely from one side to the other side of the spinning frame along the creel, with regard to each pair of front and back bobbin hangers on the creel to which such a unit operation is to be applied, by utilizing only two pegs for temporarily supporting roving bobbins capable of changing the axial distance thereof between an axial distance (b) between the front and back bobbin hangers, facing each other on the creel, and an axial distance (a) between two adjacent bobbin hangers on the supply rail.

Roving bobbin exchanging method and apparatus for carrying out roving

A method and apparatus for piecing rovings introduced from almost exhausted roving bobbins suspended by two rows of bobbin hangers mounted on a creel of a conventional ring spinning frame provided with a roving bobbin supply rail disposed in front of the creel, with rovings introduced from full packaged roving bobbins previously carried to the respective supply positions of the supply rail, said for exchanging the almost exhausted roving bobbins for the full packaged roving bobbins. A piecing rovings operation is carried out for each pair of almost exhausted roving bobbins suspended by a front row bobbin hanger and a back row bobbin hanger of the creel, facing each other, together with two corresponding adjacent full packaged roving bobbins of the supply rail, respectively. A roving bobbin exchanging operation is carried out for each pair of almost exhausted roving bobbins having completed the roving piecing operation for corresponding full packaged roving bobbins of the supply rail having completed the roving piecing operation. The roving bobbin exchanging operation and the roving piecing operation are performed in parallel and at the same time.
