The present load support apparatus comprises an object support apparatusincludes a regulating devicethat regulates movement of a support frame unitwith respect to a fixed frame unit. The regulating device includes a fixed-side slitthat is formed at a side frameof the fixed frame unit, a movable-side slitthat is formed at a guide frameof the support frame unit, and a regulating memberthat is inserted through the slits. The regulating member is engaged with a movable-side engaging portionat the movable-side slit and a fixed-side engaging portionat the fixed-side slit and the regulating member is locked between the fixed-side engaging portion and the movable-side engaging portion.

Load support apparatus

To realize a mechanism that can support an article at a desired position in such a way as to be able to move the article, with a thin, simple configuration. A load support mechanismincludes a fixed support section, which includes a fixed cam; a movable support section, which receives a load and can move vertically; a horizontal cam groove, which is provided in the movable support section; a cam follower member, which can move horizontally along the cam groove; a first spring, which is mounted between the fixed support section and the movable support section to support a load; and a second spring, which pushes the cam follower member horizontally and presses the cam follower member against a fixed cam surfaceof the fixed cam. A reaction force of the fixed cam against the cam follower contains a vertical component depending on a height position of the movable support section, and the vertical component assists or reduces the spring's force to push up the load. A cam shape of the fixed cam surface is provided in such a way that the load acting around the cam follower, the spring forces of the first and second springs, and the reaction force applied from the fixed cam are balanced against each other.

Load support mechanism

To achieve a mechanism that supports an article at a desired position in a displaceable manner in accordance with a weight of the article with a simple, small, and lightweight structure. An article supporting deviceincludes a base member, a supporting member, a spring memberwhich is a compression coil spring, a spring force transmission member, a cam member, and a cam follower member. The cam follower member is pressed against a downward-facing cam surfaceof the support member, an upward-facing cam surfaceof the spring force transmission member, and a sideward-facing cam surfaceof the cam member by a load of an article and a spring force of the spring member. The downward-facing cam surface and upward-facing cam surface are inclined in reverse directions to each other and disposed opposite to each other with the cam follower member interposed therebetween. A pressing force of the sideward-facing cam surface against the cam follower member includes a vertical direction component depending on a height position of the supporting member. The downward-facing cam surface, upward-facing cam surface, and sideward-facing cam surface are designed such that, in a moving range of the support member, the load, spring force, and pressing forces of the respective cam surfaces against the cam follower member are in equilibrium about the cam follower member.

Provided is an operation handle mechanism with which a handle can be conveniently operated to move a movable section, thereby ensuring smooth operation and movement at any time regardless of an operation position of the handle. An operation handle sectionincludes a handle lever, which is used to operate movement of a support frame sectioncapable of moving up and down, and left and right transmission rodsand, which are joined to the handle lever. The transmission rods can only move a predetermined distance in a movement direction thereof relative to the support frame section, and start to move together with the support frame section after going beyond that distance. The left and right transmission rods are connected via rack sectionsandof the transmission rods and a gear train, andmeshing with the rack sections in such a way as to enable transmission of part of an operation force coming from the handle lever from one transmission rod to the other and thereby allow the two transmission rods to simultaneously move only the same distance.

Operation handle mechanism and load support mechanism

In supporting a heavy load with a spring member disposed between a fixed frame and a support frame, provided are a follower member that transfers a spring force of the spring member to the support frame, first and second cam surfaces that regulate motion of the follower member, and a biasing device for bringing the follower member into press-contact with the cam surfaces, the first cam surface generates a friction force to reduce an effect of the heavy load, the second cam surface generates a friction force to reduce an effect of the spring force, and the follower member is made movable in an expansion/contraction direction of the spring, and also in a direction crossing the expansion/contraction direction to control engagement of the follower member and the cam surfaces.

A sheet storage apparatus includes a sheet discharge path having a sheet discharge outlet; a stack tray disposed on a downstream side of the sheet discharge outlet; a support device disposed between the sheet discharge outlet and the stack tray to load at least a part of a sheet; a sheet end regulation device for regulating a position of at least one end edge of the sheet supported by the support device; and an aligning transport device disposed in the support device to carry the sheet toward the sheet end regulation device. The aligning transport device includes a friction transport body and a transport body travel device, and the friction transport body has a rotating member rolling along the top surface of the sheet supported by the support device, and the rotating member rotates in a direction crossing the travel direction.

Sheet aligning and shifting device

A paper mount surface is disposed while being inclined in the sheet discharge direction or sheet-discharge orthogonal direction, and first and second support members that support the sheet rear and portion in the sheet discharge direction and rear end portion are disposed to be able to shift between actuation positions inside the tray and retract positions. Then, after collecting sheets on both support members, the support member positioned in the direction orthogonal to the inclined direction of the paper mount surface is first retracted from above the tray, and next, the support member positioned in the inclined direction is retracted to the waiting position.

Sheet storage apparatus and image formation system using the apparatus

Provided is a printer capable of ensuring a large peeling angle at the time of peeling between the transfer film and the ink ribbon by differentiating a conveyance direction of the transfer film at a peeling part on a proceeding passage from the proceeding direction. In the printer which forms an image on a transfer filmwhile feeding an ink ribbonand the transfer filmto a print position between a platen rollerand a thermal headwhich are mutually pressure-contacted, the transfer filmis wound to form a conveyance passage between a feeding spooland a winding spoolin a film cassettewhich is attached to a device frame in a detachably attachable manner, and a film conveying rollerand pinch rollersare arranged at positions so that the conveyance passage of the transfer filmattached to the device frame is displaced to the inside of the cassette by a predetermined amount.

Printer

A detection sensor detects a position of a level detection lever that touches an uppermost sheet of sheets stacked on a holding tray, and a computing device counts the number of sheets that have been discharged to the holding tray. A judging device judges the amount of sheets stacked based on a sheet surface level detection signal from the detection sensor and a count value of the computing device. The apparatus accurately judges that the maximum amount of sheets have been stacked in the holding tray according to the position of the level detection lever and a count value for a number of sheets. Also, the apparatus selects one of a plurality of values for an offset sheet count, which corresponds to the operating conditions, namely the transporting speed of sheets, the intervals between sheets, and the length of the transport direction of the sheets.

Sheet holding apparatus and sheet transport apparatus equipped with the same

An automatic document feeder is provided with a reading unit disposed above a platen for reading an original. The reading unit includes a platen roller for transporting the original to the reading unit; a guide device arranged between the platen and the platen roller and formed in a curved original reading path; a pressing device for pressing the guide device against the platen roller; and a regulating device for creating a space between a surface of the platen roller and an upper surface of the platen. When the original is transported between the platen roller and the guide device, the original moves the guide device toward the platen.

Automatic document feeding apparatus

An automatic document feeder is provided with the first transport device and the second transport device for feeding an original at a reading position to read the original, and a curved reading path disposed between the first transport device and second transport device. The automatic document feeder is also provided with a reading guide unit including the first guide member disposed at an upstream side of the reading position in an original feeding direction for guiding the original to the reading position, the second guide member disposed at a downstream side of the reading position in the original feeding direction for guiding the original from the reading position, a flexible transparent film member extending between the first guide member and the second guide member for forming the reading path. The reading guide unit is detachably and rotatably supported on an apparatus frame of the automatic document feeder.
