The fluidized bed includes a vertical stream area in which the powder coat moves upward and downward. The coil spring is immersed in the vertical stream area of the fluidized bed while an end coil of the coil spring faces upward, and is periodically subjected to a relative movement with respect to a direction containing components vertical to a central axis of the coil spring in relation to the vertical stream area.

The present invention provides techniques to increase the efficiency of communication between computer systems. One embodiment of the present invention provides a method for communicating a first information item having a first data length of a plurality of data lengths, from a first device to a second device via a local area network. The first data length is determined based on a first data length restriction of the second device. Another embodiment enables a high-speed transfer of a large volume of data on a server to another server, without stopping the communication between the server and a client. This embodiment uses the limitation on data length of the destination system to limit the length of the data sent by the source system. In addition while standard length data is exchanged between client and server, extended length data is exchanged between servers.

According to the present invention, an information network wherein, packets can be forwarded between entities on a network along a plurality of lines, each line carrying separate copies of information. If a portion of one copy of the information is lost due to line failure, for example, other copies flowing along different lines can be used to reconstruct the lost information. In a representative embodiment, a plurality of LAN lines respectively connect between terminals and LAN-to-LAN forwarding devices or between two LAN-to-LAN forwarding devices. The terminals or the LAN-to-LAN forwarding devices are respectively provided with multiple line transmitting units for respectively transmitting the same packets to the plurality of LAN lines substantially contemporaneously. There are also provided multiple line receiving units for respectively selecting any of the same packets sent from the plurality of LAN lines and receiving it.

In an information network having a complex structure made of a logical network and also a physical network, such an information network is constituted so as to realize a multicast service capable of not increasing an amount of a network traffic larger than a necessary traffic amount. This information network contains a plurality of information relay apparatuses for relaying information among a plurality of VLANs (Virtual Local Area Networks), a network for connecting these information replay apparatuses to each other, a multicast server and a plurality of terminals, belonging to an arbitrary VLAN of these VLANs. A multicast relay processing unit, a multicast address learning processing unit, and a multicast learning table are provided in each of these information relay apparatuses so as to register a predetermined relay destination of a multicast communication. Even in such a case that the VLAN structure is made complex irrespective of the physical network structure, it is possible to distribute such a multicast packet suitable for the physical network structure.

A packet communications apparatus of the present invention essentially comprises a plurality of network interfaces (NIFs), a learned address table, a packet forwarding unit (PFU) and a processor for directive packets to change state (PDPCS). The learned address table contains information for identifying a NIF through which to send a packet. The PFU selects a port through which to forward a packet by referring to the learned address table, according to the state of the NIFs, and forwards or discards a packet received from a user terminal. The PDPCS receives a packet including a directive to change the state of a specific NIF to one of the connected state, disconnected state and stateless.
