A portable information device includes a chassis with a heating element housed inside, and a cover device which covers the back surface of the chassis. The cover device has a core material, a graphite sheet laminated on the surface of the core material, an auxiliary sheet laminated on the surface of the graphite sheet and softer than the core material, and a surface material laminated on the surface of the auxiliary sheet to form the surface of the cover device and softer than the auxiliary sheet.

Portable information device and cover device

An electronic apparatus includes a bottom cover, a main board provided with a stud, a screw, a washer, and a sponge. The screw has a head portion having a diameter larger than that of an attachment hole, a male screw portion configured to be screwed into a first female screw portion, and a columnar portion having a diameter smaller than a root diameter of the male screw portion. The washer has a flange portion having a diameter larger than that of the attachment hole, a cylindrical portion having a diameter smaller than that of the attachment hole, and a second female screw portion which the male screw portion is screwable into and passable through. The head portion abuts on the bottom cover to fix the bottom cover by the male screw portion. The flange portion is between the stud and the bottom cover.

Electronic apparatus and structure

A method for manufacturing a display device that can prevent deformation of a flexible display is provided. A raw material sheet that serves as a metal sheet of the flexible display has a width that is greater than a width of the display body in Y direction and a plurality of holes are provided in a bent area of the raw material sheet over an entire width along a bent section of the display body. The method includes: mounting the display body on the raw material sheet such that the bent section and the bent area are aligned and that the display body avoids the end portions in the Y direction; applying pressure to the display body from a central part of the display body toward a periphery of the display body; and cutting the raw material sheet into a predetermined size.

Method for manufacturing a display device

A portable information device capable of supporting a display is described. The portable information device includes a first chassis member and a second chassis member connected mutually rotatable, a first support plate that supports a display on the side of the first chassis member, a second support plate that supports the display on the side of the second chassis member, a first locking member including a first fixing portion to be fixed to the rear face of the first support plate with adhesive, and a first locking piece projecting from one end face of the first support plate, the first locking piece being configured to come in contact with and separate from the rear face of the second support plate. The first support plate includes a first contact face with which the first locking member comes in contact and a first adhesive face that fixes the first locking member with the adhesive. The first adhesive face is recessed from the first contact face by a thickness of the adhesive.

Portable information device

A portable information device includes: a first chassis, a second chassis adjacent to the first chassis, and a hinge device that relatively rotatably connects the first chassis and the second chassis. The hinge device includes: a first torque generating part that generates a rotation torque in relative rotation of a first base plate and a first link plate by sliding resistance between the first base plate and the first link plate, and a second torque generating part that generates a rotation torque in relative rotation of a second base plate and a second link plate by sliding resistance between the second base plate and the second link plate.

Portable information device and hinge device

A portable information device includes a display extending over a first chassis and a second chassis, and a bezel disposed straddling over an outer edge of the display and a chassis frame, adjacent to the outer edge, of the first chassis and the second chassis and having a bending part. The bending part includes a first member and a second member. The first member includes first and second side portions. The first side portion is fixed to a front face of the outer edge and the second side portion is disposed to be relatively movable with respect to the chassis frame, in a width direction straddling over the outer edge and the chassis frame of the first chassis and the second chassis. The second member is fixed to a front face of the first member and made of a material more flexible than that of the first member.

A display assembly includes: a first plate having a first surface; a second plate having a second surface; and a display formed into one sheet shape and including a first region fixed to the first surface, a second region fixed to the second surface, and a third region as a region between the first region and the second region. The display assembly includes a flat plate form in which the first and second surfaces are lined up in a plane direction to be formed into a flat-plate shape, and a folded form in which the third region is so bent that the surface of the first plate and the surface of the second plate face each other. In the flat plate form, a tension is applied to the third region in a width direction toward the first region and the second region.

An electronic device includes a chassis, an input device provided on a top surface of the chassis and configured to receive an input operation, and a pen holder provided so as to project from a side surface of the chassis and configured to be able to hold a pen device in a posture along the side surface. The pen holder has a pen holding part composed of stretchy fabric formed into a loop and configured to be able to hold the pen device by insertion of the pen device through its inner periphery part, and a bracket having a cutout part in which a part of the pen holding part is disposed and to be fixed to the chassis.

Electronic device and information device system

A portable information device includes: a first chassis; a second chassis disposed adjacently to the first chassis and coupled to the first chassis to be rotatable between a flat form and a stacked form; and a spine member disposed across adjacent end portions of the first and second chassis. In the flat form, the first and second chassis are side by side in a direction perpendicular to a surface direction of the first and second chassis. In the stacked form, the first and second chassis are stacked and overlap one another in the surface direction.

A portable information device includes: a chassis having an upper cover defining a top face, a lower cover defining a bottom face, and a vertical wall standing between edges of the upper cover and the lower cover to define a side face; a microphone hole that penetrates the vertical wall and opens to the side face; a microphone module in the chassis, including a microphone facing the microphone hole, the microphone module being configured to acquire sound information outside the chassis with the microphone; and a microphone pressure component between the vertical wall and one of the upper cover and the lower cover to be compressed therebetween and press the microphone module against an inner face of the vertical wall.

An information device and a cover that are suitable for forming design marks on a soft material and enhance the appearance quality. The cover includes: a core as a base; an auxiliary sheet closer to a surface than the core; a surface material closer to the surface than the auxiliary sheet, the surface material being softer than the core; and a design mark part including a baseplate and a design mark protruding from the baseplate. The baseplate is disposed in a plate recessed portion having a shape corresponding to a contour of the baseplate and disposed in a surface of the core. The design mark is exposed to the surface through design mark holes in the auxiliary sheet and the surface material, the design mark holes having a contour shape of the design mark. The auxiliary sheet covers at least the contour of the baseplate and the plate recessed portion.

Information device and cover

A portable information device includes a chassis, and a cover device that covers the back surface of the chassis. The cover device has a base cover section, a stand cover section rotatable relative to the base cover section and movable between a stored position of being provided along the back surface of the chassis and a standing position of protruding from the back surface of the chassis, and a hinge device. A first bracket has a first notch-shaped portion in a root part of the side end face thereof on the side of a hinge shaft to face the side of the second bracket in the axial direction. A second bracket has a second notch-shaped portion in a root part of the side end face thereof on the side of the hinge shaft to face the side of the first bracket in the axial direction.

A portable information device includes: a first chassis; a second chassis coupled to be rotatable relative to the first chassis; a first plate fixed to the first chassis; a second plate fixed to the second chassis to be adjacent to the first plate; a display having a bending region; a first locking piece protruding from the first plate beyond a first end face to be able to come into contact with and separate from the second plate; a second locking piece protruding from the second plate beyond a second end face to be able to come into contact with and separate from the first plate; and a protruding part provided to protrude from at least one of the first end face and the second end face toward the other to come into contact with the other in a flat plate form.

Portable information device and display assembly

A portable information device includes: a first chassis; a second chassis adjacent to the first chassis, the second chassis coupled to the first chassis so as to be relatively rotatable between a flat form in which the first and second chassis are arranged side by side in a direction perpendicular to a surface direction thereof and a stacked form in which the first and the second chassis are stacked to overlap each other in the surface direction thereof; a spine member provided across adjacent end portions of the first and second chassis, the spine member covering a gap generated between the adjacent end portions of the first and second chassis in the stacked form; and a cushion portion provided in at least a part of a front side of the spine member, the cushion portion facing an internal space generated between the first and second chassis in the stacked form.

A portable information device includes a chassis and a cover device to cover the back surface of the chassis. The cover device includes a hinge device that rotatably supports a stand cover section between a stored position and a standing position. The hinge device includes: a first shaft; a second shaft; an intermediate shaft having a first end coupled to one end of the first shaft and a second end coupled to one end of the second shaft; and a first base bracket, a first stand bracket, a second base bracket, and a second stand bracket.
