A door opening device for an access door includes an upper lock device, a lower lock device, and a handle device, the lower lock device has a first bias member for biasing a lower opening lever in an opposite direction to an unlocking direction, the handle device has a handle into which an unlocking operation is inputted, a first lever to which an upper cable and a lower cable are connected, a second lever which rotates in a first direction in response to an unlocking operation and transmits this rotation to the first lever, and a second bias member for restoring the second lever to an initial position, and the second lever has a play stroke defined between a point in time when the second lever starts to rotate from the initial position to a point in time when the second lever transmits the rotation to the first lever.

Door opening device

An operation relay device for a motor-vehicle door latch includes a base fixed to a door panel of a door, an operation handle pivotably supported to the base, and a link lever transmitting an opening operation by the operation handle to a door latch. The base includes a plurality of fixing parts, and the operation handle is pivotably supported at a position deviating from a center in a front-rear direction on the base, so that a center of gravity of the operation relay device is in a side of the deviating position. The fixing parts except a specific fixing part are respectively fixed to the door panel by a bolt. The specific fixing part is a temporary fixing piece that is integrally formed on the upper portion of the base to be capable of engaging with an engaging hole formed on the door panel.

Operation relay device for motor-vehicle door latch

A striker on a lower part of a doorway of a vehicle body includes: first and second engagement parts on a metal base and fixed to the vehicle body to be apart from each other to respectively engage with a door latch device on a lower part of a door capable of closing the doorway and a dislocation prevention part adjacent the door latch device; a pair of front and rear engagement pieces on a vehicle interior side of the base respectively opposite the first and second engagement parts; a reinforcing piece between the first and second engagement pieces; and an elastic body fixed to the base by the first and second engagement pieces and the reinforcing piece. The elastic body has a convex portion that abuts against an inner panel of the door when the door is closed. The convex portion is supported by the reinforcing piece.

Striker for motor vehicle door

A waterproof structure of a door latch device, in which one end part of a cable is connected to an input lever including one end part projecting toward outside of a case, includes a cover including: a cover main body having a box shape with a cover opening, the cover main body being configured to house the one end part of the input lever and the one end part of the cable via the cover opening when the cover main body abuts on the case; and a cover supporting body extending from the cover main body. The cover is attached to the case via the cover supporting body in a state in which the cover main body is movable between a closed position at which the cover main body abuts on the case and an opened position at which the cover main body is separated from the case.
