The molding apparatus includes a slice data generation unit to generate slice data from three-dimensional shape data of the three-dimensional model, and a lamination unit to laminate a layer of a molding material on the basis of the slice data. The slice data generation unit analyzes data, and, if a region in which a layer of a second molding material different from a first molding material is to be laminated on a layer of the first molding material and in which it is difficult to laminate the layers is extracted, modifies the data of a region of at least one of an ith layer and an (i+1)th layer to data in which a portion in which the first molding material is disposed and a portion in which the second molding material is disposed.

A method of producing a three-dimensional shaped article includes a step of forming particle layers by arranging particles containing a material for forming a shaped article and particles containing a material having higher solubility in fluid than the material for forming the shaped article, a step of forming a stack by melting and stacking the particle layers, and a step of removing the material having higher solubility in the fluid than the material for forming the shaped article from the stack by dissolving the material having higher solubility in the fluid than the material for forming the shaped article in the fluid.

A shaping apparatus includes a storage section that stores in advance a first relationship between a temperature of a shaping material and a heating time at a time at which oxidation of the shaping material starts as the shaping material is heated; and a control section that estimates a timing at which the oxidation of a material layer starts, based on an acquisition result from a temperature acquisition section, a measurement result from a time measurement section, and the first relationship stored in the storage section when the material layer on a conveyance body is preheated by a preheating section, and reduces a front surface temperature of the material layer on the conveyance body before the oxidation of the material layer starts.

Shaping apparatus and shaping method

A developing device includes a developing member and a carrier collecting member. An outer surface of the developing member includes a plurality of protrusion portions aligned at regular intervals that are equal to or larger than an average particle diameter of toner particles and smaller than an average particle diameter of magnetic carrier particles. Each protrusion portion has a first face formed at one side of an apex of each protrusion portion and a second face formed at the other side of the apex, and an inclination angle of the first face is less than an inclination angle of the second face. In the circumferential direction of the developing member, when a downward direction of the first face is set to be positive, a relative velocity of a surface velocity of an image bearing member to a surface velocity of the developing member is set to be positive.

Image forming apparatus

A developing device includes a developing member, a toner supplying member, and a carrier recovering member configured to recover magnetic carrier particles from the toner supplying member. An outer surface of the toner supplying member includes a plurality of protrusion portions with a regular interval between adjacent protrusion portions. The regular interval is equal to or larger than a particle diameter of a toner particle having an average particle diameter from among the particle diameters of the toner particles and smaller than a carrier particle diameter of a magnetic carrier particle having an average particle diameter from among the particle diameters of the magnetic carrier particles. The protrusion portions protrude from the remainder of the outer surface of the toner supplying member with a height that is smaller than the average particle diameter of the toner particles.

Developing device and image forming apparatus

A developing device configured to develop an electrostatic image includes a developing member and a carrier recovering member. An outer surface of the developing member includes a plurality of protrusion portions which extend in a direction intersecting a toner particle carrying direction and are aligned with a regular interval between adjacent protrusion portions. The regular interval is equal to or larger than a particle diameter of a toner particle having an average particle diameter from among the toner particles and smaller than a carrier particle diameter of a magnetic carrier particle having an average particle diameter from among the magnetic carrier particles. The protrusion portions protrude from the outer surface of the developing member with a height that is smaller than the average particle diameter of the toner particles, and the developing member contacts with the image bearing member at a developing portion.

The developing device includes a developing container that stores a developer including a non-magnetic toner and a magnetic carrier, a toner bearing member that bears the toner and conveys the toner to a developing portion and a separating portion wherein a surface of the toner bearing member includes a plurality of recess structures. A percentage of the recess structures per unit area in a toner bearing region of the toner bearing member is equal to or larger than 55%.

A developing device for an image forming apparatus such as a copying machine, a printer, or the like to develop an electrostatic latent image on an image carrier includes a toner carrier which moves while carrying a toner on its surface, and a regulating member for regulating the amount of toner on the toner carrier by applying a moving force to the toner in a direction opposite to the moving direction of the toner carrier. In a regulating portion defined by the regulating member, a convey force received by a toner portion, which does not contact the surface of the toner carrier, from the regulating member is larger than a convey force received from the toner carrier.

Developing device having regualting rotary member for regulating toner

A development apparatus having a development sleeve for carrying and transporting a magnetic developer, a regulating roll for controlling the thickness of a layer of the developer on the development sleeve, a first magnetic pole provided in the development sleeve in the vicinity of a position of layer thickness control by the regulating roll, a second magnetic pole provided in the regulating roll to form a magnetic field for restraining the developer in cooperation with the first magnetic pole. Development apparatus

A developing device including a developing agent container for storing a developing agent composed of toner particles and magnetic carrier particles, a toner carrier for carrying and conveying the toner particles to supply the toner particles to an image carrier for carrying an electrostatic image, and a developing agent regulating rotary member, disposed adjacent the toner carrier with a gap therebetween, for forming a brush of the magnetic carrier particles by a magnetic force between itself and the toner carrier. The regulating rotary member allows only the toner to pass therethrough without substantially allowing passage of the carrier.

Developing device which restricts carrier using developing agent

A stationary magnet is disposed in a developing sleeve for carrying a one component magnetic developer. A regulating sleeve for regulating a layer of the developer is disposed opposed to the developing sleeve. The regulating sleeve rotates in the same direction as the developing sleeve. In the regulating sleeve, there is disposed a magnet or magnetic member cooperative with the stationary magnet to form a magnetic field in a gap between the developing sleeve and the regulating sleeve.

Developing apparatus

A toner for electrophotography, comprising toner particles and an additive, is obtained by mixing toners A and B together which are obtained by respectively adding the additive to each of at least two toner particle groups (a) and (b) having different particle size distributions. The average particle size of the toner particle group (a) is smaller than that of the toner particle group (b), and the amount of additive in the toner A is larger than that in the toner B. The toner reduces the differences in development conditions between different particle sizes due to broadening of toner particle size distribution, thereby enabling a stable image quality to be obtained which maintains a high image density for an extended period of time and is relatively free from fog generation in non-image portions.

Toners of different size for electrophotography

An image forming method is disclosed which comprises forming a latent image on a latent image bearing member, carrying a magnetic toner onto a developer carrying member provided with a magnetic field forming means, forming on the developer carrying member a layer of the magnetic toner, and developing the latent image while transferring the magnetic toner to the latent image bearing member. The magnetic toner contains a magnetic material having an intensity of magnetization of from 10 emu/g to 40 emu/g in a magnetic field of 1K oersted and formed of a metal oxide having a horizontal direction Feret's diameter of from 0.05 .mu.m to 0.5 .mu.m, and chainlike masses of the magnetic toner, formed on the developer carrying member, are in a density of not less than 8.times.10.sup.4 ears/cm.sup.2 in a developing zone formed between the latent image bearing member and developer carrying member. The chainlike masses each have a length of not more than 180 .mu.m, and when the weight average particle diameter of the magnetic toner is r (.mu.m) and the true density thereof is .rho. (g/cm.sup.3), the magnetic toner on the developer carrying member in the developing zone is in a quantity of not less than 0.06.times.r.times..rho. mg/cm.sup.2. Also, an image forming apparatus is disclosed.

Electrophotographic method and apparatus using magnetic toner

An image-forming apparatus for developing an electrostatic latent image using a two-component developer. Toner replenishment is effected in different modes when the toner concentration is in a lower toner concentration range than a desired toner concentration and when it is lower than that toner concentration range.
