A work vehicle includes an engine, a transmission to change a received rotational force to a rotational force at a gear ratio that corresponds to a desired vehicle speed and output the changed rotational force, a first operating tool to change the rotation speed of the engine and a deceleration rate of the transmission, a rotation speed controller to control the rotation speed of the engine based on an input provided to the first operating tool, and a second operating tool to receive a holding instruction to hold the rotation speed of the engine constant. In response to the holding instruction being inputted to the second operating tool, the rotation speed controller is configured or programmed to disable control of the rotation speed of the engine which control is based on the input provided to the first operating tool, and hold the rotation speed of the engine constant in accordance with the holding instruction.

From a parameter setting unit, a user enters values for monitor start time (STime), check time (ETime) and a telephone number for notification (TelNo). The entered parameter values are stored into a storage unit. A door opening/closing detection unit detects opening/closing of e.g. a bathroom door. During the period from STime to ETime, the number of detections is counted and if the counted value is at most a predetermined value, it is determined as abnormal. When the abnormality is detected, a communication unit is automatically connected via a general public line to TelNo set by the user. A telephone to be notified is then notified of the abnormal condition of an inhabitant. Thus, an abnormal condition detecting system can be provided capable of appropriately detecting the abnormal condition of the inhabitant and promptly taking action thereon.

A computer has one or more different device drivers, and one or more different devices are connected through respective device drivers. In the computer, a file inside or outside of the computer is accessed in response to an access request generated inside. In the computer, based on data type of the file, which one of the device driver is to be used for the delivery of the file is determined. When a device driver used for the delivery of the file is specified among one or more device drivers as a result of determination, the file is transferred through the specified device driver to the unit connected to the device driver. Therefore, when a file is accessed in response to a request generated in the computer, the accessed file is automatically transferred and delivered to that device which requires the file, among one or more devices connected to the computer.
