A drive device that reduces a returning force to return to the center when moving a movable unit with respect to a fixed unit and suppresses a load of an actuator driving the movable unit is provided. The drive device includes a fixed unit, a movable unit that is disposed so as to be capable of relatively moving in a predetermined range within a plane with respect to the fixed unit, a plurality of rolling members that are disposed between the fixed unit and the movable unit, an actuator configured to drive the movable unit, and an urging unit configured to urge the movable unit to the fixed unit via the rolling members. The urging unit includes a magnet and a magnetic body. One of the magnet and the magnetic body is held by the movable unit, and another of the magnet and the magnetic body is held by the fixed unit. A range, in which the magnet can move when the actuator is driven to move the movable unit, does not protrude from an end of the magnetic body when viewed from a direction orthogonal to the plane.

An imaging system includes a movable body and a fixed body. In movable body, an imaging device capable of changing an imaging direction is provided. In the fixed body, a circular rail member is provided. The fixed body supports the rail member to be rotatable along the rail member.

Imaging system

An optical apparatus includes an image pickup optical system, an evacuating optical system movable between a shooting state and an evacuating state, a first urging member, a first moving member, a second moving member including a sliding portion and a first, second, and third cam follower portions, and a first cam cylinder member including a plurality of first cam portions. The first, second, and third cam follower portions follows the plurality of first cam portions. A second urging member urging in a redial direction of the second moving member is attached to the first cam follower portion. In a case where the evacuating optical system is the evacuating state, a straight line extended in a direction, where the evacuating optical system works on the sliding portion by the first urging member, intersects with a line segment between the second and third cam follower portions.

Image forming apparatus and control method thereof

A printer performs printing by transferring ink of an ink ribbon on which a plurality of color inks is sequentially arranged to paper, and the printer includes a paper conveyance unit configured to convey paper, an ink ribbon conveyance unit configured to be driven by the same drive source as that of the paper conveyance unit and convey the ink ribbon only in a printing direction, and a detection unit configured to detect a marker for detecting the top of color inks provided on the ink ribbon, wherein a marker of a specific color ink of the ink ribbon includes marker pieces, the number of which is greater than that of the other markers.

A printer may include a sheet conveyance unit, a sheet detection unit, an ink sheet conveyance unit, a search position detection unit, and a control unit both to execute a continuous print mode by using sets of ink portions, where each set of ink portions has ink portions of an ink sheet, and to print screens adjacent to each other. In a case where power for the printer is turned ON, the control unit conveys a sheet that has been pulled out from a sheet housing unit in a direction for returning the sheet into the housing unit using the sheet conveyance unit. In addition, the control unit calculates a leading-end detection conveyance amount until a leading end of the sheet is detected by the sheet detection unit, and determines a discharge amount of the sheet based on the leading-end detection conveyance amount.
