A cutter unit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is configured to cut recording paper that is conveyed. The cutter unit includes a movable blade that can advance toward or retract from the recording paper and is configured to cut the recording paper when the movable blade advances. The cutter unit also includes a peeling mechanism including a contacting portion configured to move in a direction opposite to a direction of advancement or retraction of the movable blade and contact the recording paper.

A printer configured to cut recording paper with a fixed blade and a movable blade has a blade unit including the movable blade and a slider to which the movable blade is attachable, and the slider includes: a contact part configured to contact the movable blade; a flexible part formed thinner than the contact part; and a first protrusion provided on the flexible part and configured to engage with a first opening provided in the movable blade.

A communication system includes an information terminal, and a printing apparatus configured to perform intergroup communication with the information terminal belonging to a group. A printer includes a print head configured to print on a recording sheet, a platen roller attached to a frame in a rotatable manner, a support having a head spring attached thereto that urges the print head toward the platen roller, and a hold unit attached to the frame in a rotatable manner and having an engaging part that engages with a projection situated at a side end of the support, wherein the head spring is configured to urge the print head toward the platen roller when the projection is engaged with the engaging part, and wherein the hold unit is configured to be rotated to cause the engaging part to disengage from the projection.

A printer includes a print head that performs printing on a recording medium, a frame, a platen roller attached to the frame, a head spring that biases the print head toward the platen roller, a hook provided on a facing surface of the frame facing a back surface of the print head, and a support provided at an end of the head spring and attached to the hook. The head spring is rotatable about the support.

A printing apparatus includes a printer function part configured to print on a recording sheet, a power supply including a rechargeable battery, a charger configured to charge the rechargeable battery, and an input part configured to input information. The printer function part, the input part, the power supply, and the charger are arranged from a first end of the printing apparatus towards a second end opposite to the first end, in an order of the printer function part, the input part, the power supply, and the charger.

A sheet cassette that accommodates a recording sheet and is connected with a printer includes a first roller contacting a feed roller of the printer, a second roller contacting a recording sheet, a first gear and a second gear attached to a shaft of the first roller, a third gear and a fourth gear attached to a single shaft, and a fifth gear attached to a shaft of the second roller, wherein the first gear independently rotates relative to the first roller and the second gear, the feed gear of the printer engages with the first gear, the first gear engages with the third gear, the fourth gear rotates together with the third gear, the fourth gear engages with the fifth gear, and the second roller is rotated by rotation of the fifth gear.

Sheet cassette

A sheet cassette connectable to a printer includes a case, a spring, a cover, and a connecting part. The case stores a recording sheet. The spring is provided on the case. The cover covers the case and the spring and slides relative to the case to expose the spring. The connecting part is attached to the case and is connectable to the printer. The spring is exposed to press a recording sheet placed on the cover toward a position at which the printer is to be located when connected to the sheet cassette.
