A vehicle drive device that includes a rotary electric machine that serves as a drive force source for wheels; a speed change mechanism; a pump motor that serves as a drive force source for an electric pump that generates a hydraulic pressure to be supplied to a servo mechanism for the speed change mechanism; a case that accommodates the speed change mechanism; and a first inverter that controls the rotary electric machine and a second inverter that controls the pump motor, the first inverter and the second inverter being connected to a common DC power source, wherein: the first inverter and the second inverter are disposed in the case; and a first wiring member that extends from the DC power source is branched in the case to be connected to each of the first inverter and the second inverter.

Vehicle drive device

A vehicle drive device including: an input member drivably coupled to an internal combustion engine; an output member drivably coupled to wheels; a single wheel drive rotary electric machine that transfers a drive force to the output member; a speed change mechanism provided in a power transfer path that connects between the wheel drive rotary electric machine and the output member; and an inverter device that controls the wheel drive rotary electric machine.

A compact inverter device that includes a power module having a switching element and a smoothing capacitor that converts electric power between DC power and AC power. The inverter is configured with a plate-like DC bus board to which the smoothing capacitor is fixed, a fixing member that maintains a relative positional relation between the DC bus board. The DC bus board has a plurality of connection positive terminals that are electrically connected to the positive electrode pattern and that are respectively electrically connected to the positive terminals of the plurality of power modules. The DC bus board and power modules are fixed to the fixing member by connection positive terminal and positive terminals through a common fastening member, and similarly on the negative terminals.

Inverter device capable of appropriately fixing a power module having a switching element and a smoothing capacitor in a limited region

The overall outer shape of a vehicle drive device including an inverter device is reduced in size. An input member and a rotating electrical machine are arranged side by side on a first axis, and a differential gear unit is placed on a second axis. An inverter device is located so as to overlap the differential gear unit as viewed in a radial direction, and is located between a second reference line that extends perpendicularly to a first reference line passing through the first axis and the second axis and that passes through the first axis and a third reference line that extends perpendicularly to the first reference line and that passes the second axis, as viewed in an axial direction.

An inverter device including a plurality of switching elements that convert electric power between DC power and AC power, a base plate that includes a surface on which the switching elements are placed, AC terminals through which AC power is input and output to and from an external device and which are electrically connected to the switching elements, and a capacitor that smoothes DC power. The AC terminals are disposed to protrude from the base plate perpendicular to the surface in a first reference direction. The capacitor is disposed in a rectangular area so that long sides of the rectangle are parallel to the first reference direction in plan view, and is set adjacent to a base disposition area, in which the base plate and the AC terminals are disposed in a second reference direction that is a direction perpendicular to the first reference direction.

Inverter device

An inverter includes a plurality of switching elements that convert between DC and AC power. A base plate includes a surface on which the switching elements are placed. Heat dissipating fins are provided on the opposite side of the base plate. Power is input and output through AC power terminals to and from a rotary electric machine to drive a vehicle. The terminals are electrically connected to the switching elements. A capacitor smoothes the DC power. The inverter is fixed to a case of the rotary electric machine. A rotating shaft of the rotary electric machine extends in a width direction of the vehicle. The base plate is disposed adjacent to the AC terminals in the width direction. A plurality of AC phase-terminals is sequentially arrayed perpendicular to the rotating shaft. The capacitor is disposed adjacent to the heat dissipating fins on the rear side of the vehicle.

An information management system includes a storage medium storing position error information of the rotation sensor obtained based on information of the back electromotive force and output information from the rotation sensor in an inspection process in which a back electromotive force is measured by mechanically driving the rotary electrical machine after the rotary electrical machine and the rotation sensor are assembled, wherein the storage medium is provided in a state capable of being read via communication when a control device controlling the rotary electrical machine is assembled with the rotary electrical machine.
