A power conversion device includes a first switching unit connected between a DC power supply and an inverter circuit, a resonant circuit connected to the input of the inverter circuit and formed by connecting a capacitor, a reactor, and a second switching unit, and a control unit, wherein, during a resonant operation period in which the first switching unit is controlled to be off and the second switching unit is controlled to be on, the control unit controls the inverter circuit to shift from a mode in which current flows back through one of upper and lower arms of the inverter circuit to a mode in which current flows back through the other arm, and provides a period in which the upper and lower arms for every phase of the inverter circuit are turned on simultaneously.

Power conversion device and electric motor drive device using same

Provided is a drive control device including: a DC voltage source; an inverter configured to switch a switching element, to thereby apply a drive voltage to a rotary electric machine to cause a drive current to flow through the rotary electric machine; and a control unit configured to: control an output voltage of the DC voltage source; and perform control of causing, based on a torque command value for the rotary electric machine, a drive current to flow through the switching element in a first control mode, in which a drive current having a value equal to or smaller than a first current limit value is caused to flow, and a second control mode, in which a drive current having a value larger than the first current limit value is caused to flow.

Drive control device and drive control method

A power conversion device that supplies power to a load using a module incorporating a semiconductor element is such that a sealing wall that holds a sealing resin is provided on a metal case that cools the module, a feedback current channel, which is one wiring member forming a current channel that passes into and out of the semiconductor element, is the metal case, and another wiring member is disposed in proximity to and parallel with the sealing wall of the metal case.

Power supply device

Phase coils are each configured by winding a conductor wire in a concentrated winding consecutively on three circumferentially consecutive tooth portions, six inverter units of an inverter module are each disposed in close proximity to a motor so as to face each of the phase coils axially, and the motor and the inverter module are electrically connected by connecting an alternating-current output terminals of each of the plurality of inverter units to output wires of the phase coils that face the inverter units axially.

Inverter-integrated driving module and manufacturing method therefor

A first inverter ventilation aperture is disposed so as to pass through a portion of a fin base that faces a bearing, a first rotor ventilation aperture is disposed so as to pass through a portion of a bottom surface portion that faces the bearing, and a first cooling airflow ventilation channel is formed in which a cooling airflow flows radially inward through radiating fins, then flows toward a first surface side of a mount portion through the first inverter ventilation aperture, flows axially through an interior portion of a stator core, and then flows out between the bottom surface portion and a base portion through the first rotor ventilation aperture, and subsequently flows radially outward between the bottom surface portion and the base portion due to rotational driving of a centrifugal fan.

Inverter-integrated driving module

A gate driving circuit for driving a voltage-driven switching device is provided with a current limiting circuit for limiting a gate current ig that flows into a gate terminal through a gate resistor at turn-on to a current limit value IL which defines an upper limit value. The current limit value IL is set at a value which is larger than a gate current value Iat turn-on of the switching device during a period when the Miller effect occurs but is smaller than a gate current value Iat a point in time when a main current begins to flow at turn-on in a case where the gate current ig is not limited by the current limiting circuit. This arrangement makes a variation in a collector current of the switching device moderate at turn-on thereof when the collector current begins to flow, thereby reducing high-frequency noise.

Gate driving circuit

A gate drive circuit capable of turning on a semiconductor switching element at high speed, which includes: a buffer circuit including a turn-on-drive switching element and a turn-off-drive switching element that are complementarily turned on and off, for driving the semiconductor switching element; a first DC voltage supply including a positive electrode connected to the source or emitter of the turn-on-drive switching element and a negative electrode connected to a reference potential; and a second DC voltage supply including a positive electrode connected to the source or emitter of the turn-off-drive switching element and a negative electrode connected to the reference potential.
