A vehicle drive device that includes a rotary electric machine, a power transfer mechanism that transfers a rotational drive force between the rotary electric machine and a plurality of wheels, a case that houses at least a part of the power transfer mechanism and the rotary electric machine, and a hydraulic pump.

Vehicle drive device

A differential includes a pinion shaft holder, a differential case, a first side gear, a second side gear, a first spring and a second spring. The differential case includes a first side boss portion and a second side boss portion. The first spring is interposed between the first side boss portion and the first side gear. The second spring is interposed between the second side boss portion and the second side gear. A recessed portion is provided on the pinion shaft holder and is configured to avoid interference with an auxiliary tool. The auxiliary tool maintains one of the first spring and the second spring in the compressed state.

Differential and differential assembly method

A hydraulic control apparatus of an automatic transmission having engagement pressure solenoid valves configured to regulate an engagement pressure supplied to a hydraulic servo of a frictional engagement element and to output the engagement pressures from a predetermined number of the engagement pressure solenoid valves to establish respective transmission gear speeds. The hydraulic control apparatus includes a simultaneous engagement signal switch valve configured to be switched from a non-output position where an output of a simultaneous engagement signal pressure is not produced to an output position where an output of the simultaneous engagement signal pressure is produced upon receipt of an input of the engagement pressures by a number larger than the predetermined number of valves; and an original pressure switch valve configured to be switched from a supply position where an original pressure is supplied to the engagement pressure solenoid valves to a blocked position where the original pressure is blocked upon receipt of an input of the simultaneous engagement signal pressure from the simultaneous engagement signal switch valve.

Hydraulic control apparatus of automatic transmission

A parking switching valve includes a spool that is movable to a first position and to a second position. The parking switching valve also has an oil chamber that generates a biasing force from a difference in the pressure receiving area between the land portions of the spool. The oil chamber has a second input port to which a line pressure is input while the spool is in the second position. Because the line pressure is input to the second input port, a biasing force is generated so that the spool is held in the second position against a spring. As a result, a parking device is held in a parking release state.

Range switching device

An ECU executes a program that includes a step of determining whether an output shaft rotation speed NOUT is equal to or greater than a reference rotation speed at which determining regions with all of the gear speeds in a stepped automatic transmission do not overlap, a step of determining that there is an abnormality in the gear speed by dividing the turbine rotation speed NT by the output shaft rotation speed NOUT if the output shaft rotation speed NOUT is not equal to or greater than that reference rotation speed, and a step of determining that there is an abnormality in the gear speed by subtracting a value, which is obtained by multiplying the output shaft rotation speed NOUT by the gear ratio, from the turbine rotation speed NT if the output shaft rotation speed NOUT is equal to or greater than that reference rotation speed.

Abnormality determining apparatus and method for automatic transmission

An ECU executes a program that includes the steps of setting a line pressure to a line pressure () that is appropriate for improving fuel efficiency, if an automatic transmission is not shifting, and a deceleration slip control for a lock-up clutch is not being executed; setting the line pressure to a line pressure () that is equal to or lower than a line pressure () that is appropriate when the automatic transmission is shifting, if it is determined that the automatic transmission is not shifting, and the deceleration slip control is being executed; and setting the line pressure to the line pressure (), if it is determined that the automatic transmission is shifting. Line pressure control apparatus and line pressure control method for automatic transmission

An ECU executes a program that includes the steps of setting an abnormality flag when a hydraulic pressure switch is on even though a lock-up clutch is in a lock-up OFF state, forcing an SLU off when the lock-up clutch is on and the abnormality flag is on, determining that there is an SLU failure when the lock-up clutch is still in a lock-up ON state after a predetermined period of time has passed, and determining that there is a hydraulic pressure switch failure when the lock-up clutch is not in the lock-up ON state after the predetermined period of time has passed.

Gear shifting completion determination device for automatic transmission

An ECU cuts off a fuel supply to an engine when a vehicle is decelerating. The ECU sets the cancellation of the fuel supply cut-off based on the target idle speed of the engine such that the power transfer state is prevented from switching from an engine driven state to an engine drive state even if the fuel supply to the engine is restarted. When the running condition of the vehicle satisfies the cancellation condition, the ECU then cancels the fuel supply cut-off to restart the fuel supply to the engine.

When a downshift instruction has been detected, the oil pressure of a lookup clutch is controlled, and the state of operation of the automatic transmission is detected. If a starting condition has been met, a slip rotation speed of the lockup clutch is calculated, and if the calculated slip rotation speed is greater than or equal to a reference rotation speed, the calculated slip rotation speed is set as a target slip rotation speed. If a condition for converging the target slip rotation speed has been met, the target slip rotation speed is then converged to a steady target rotation speed.
