An EGR apparatus configured to circulate exhaust gas discharged from an exhaust manifold of an engine to an intake manifold of the engine includes: an EGR cooler disposed at a downstream side of the exhaust manifold and configured to cool the exhaust gas discharged from the exhaust manifold; a pair of EGR valves disposed at an upstream side from the intake manifold and configured to adjust an amount of the exhaust gas to be supplied to the intake manifold; and an exhaust gas connector that establishes communication between the EGR cooler and the exhaust manifold, in which the exhaust gas connector includes a cooling water path to which cooling water for cooling the exhaust gas flowing inside the exhaust gas connector is supplied.

A valve device includes a valve housing body having a passage for fluid, a valve guide formed in the valve housing body, a valve stem sliding in the valve guide for opening and closing the valve, a hydraulic actuator for opening and closing a valve, and a hydraulic control valve for controlling the hydraulic actuator, in which a scraper is provided on an end of the passage side of the valve guide for scraping the deposits on the valve stem. Further, the hydraulic actuator and the hydraulic control valve are integrated with the valve housing body. Furthermore, the device is provided with a nozzle oriented toward the valve guide and having an orifice for jetting pressured oil for cooling.

Cylinder heads (toare respectively provided with fuel injectors (to). Each of the fuel injectors () is connected to each of joints (to) in a common rail () extending linearly through fuel injection pipes (to). In this example, it can be achieved to allow all the fuel injection pipes (to) to have the same length by crossing the injection pipes (and) to connect. With this configuration, it is possible to reduce the irregularities in the amount of fuel injection and to enhance the engine performance.
