A measurement system obtains its own measurement result through use of a different system's measurement result obtained by a different measurement system. The measurement system includes: an output data acquisition unit, a designated position acquisition unit configured to acquire a designated position, which is a position indicating an address at which the different system's measurement result is represented in the output data, by a user's designation, a different system's measurement result acquisition unit, a measurement result acquisition unit, and a position data storage unit configured to store position data indicating the designated position. The different system's measurement result acquisition unit acquires, when the position data is already stored in the position data storage unit in a case where the output data acquisition unit acquires different output data obtained by the different measurement system, the different system's measurement result included at the designated position indicated by the position data.

A varistor includes a ceramic substrate having an insulating property, a varistor layer provided on the ceramic substrate and mainly containing zinc oxide, a first glass ceramic layer provided on the second surface of the varistor layer, first and second internal electrodes provided in the varistor layer and facing each other. The varistor has a small, thin size, and has sufficient varistor characteristics against surge voltages. The varistor provides a small electronic component module with resistance to static electricity and surge voltages.

There is provided a static electricity countermeasure component including a varistor layer having a plurality of inner electrodes of a planer shape, embedded therein a board including alumina laminated with the varistor layer, and a terminal connected to the inner electrode of the varistor layer and formed at a side face of the varistor layer, in which the varistor layer and the board are sintered to thereby diffuse bismuth oxide of the varistor layer in the board and provide a bismuth oxide diffusing layer at the board. In this way, the static electricity countermeasure component achieving thin-sized formation while maintaining a varistor characteristic against a small surge voltage can be realized.

Component with countermeasure to static electricity

A varistor includes a ceramic insulating substrate, a varistor section having an outer surface, and first and second external electrodes provided on the outer surface of the varistor section. The varistor section includes a varistor layer on the ceramic insulating substrate, first and second internal electrodes, and first and second via-conductors embedded in the varistor layer and exposing from the varistor layer. The second internal electrode has a portion facing the first internal electrode. The first internal electrode and the portion of the second internal electrode sandwiches at least a portion of the varistor layer. The first and second via-conductors are connected to the first and second internal electrodes, respectively. The first and second external electrodes are connected to the first and second via-conductors, respectively. This varistor has a small thickness and a large mechanical strength.

It is possible to realize an electrostatic discharge protection component having a very small electrostatic capacity suited to a high-frequency equipment and comprising a ceramic insulating substrate, a varistor unit composed of a varistor layer and an internal electrode, which are sintered and integrated on the ceramic insulating substrate, and at least a pair of external electrodes provided on the varistor unit, the varistor unit being formed with a varistor.

Ground inner electrodeA is connected with ground outer electrodeA. This structure enables the protection component to be extremely thin.

Electrostatic discharge protection component

A method of manufacturing an Electro Static Discharge (ESD) protection componentin which slurry including varistor particles and a resin binder is produced, and a varistor green sheet is formed from this slurry. A conductor layer is formed on a surface of the varistor green sheet. A adhesive layer is formed on a baked ceramic substrate, the varistor green sheet is adhered to the adhesive layer and then baked. The method produces a high-performance and uniform ESD protection component.

Method of manufacturing ESD protection component

A high-frequency device includes an antenna terminal, a signal line connected to the antenna terminal, a high-frequency signal processing circuit connected to the signal line, a capacitance element having one end connected to the signal line and other end grounded, and an inductor having one end connected to the signal line and other end grounded. The high-frequency device can protect the high-frequency signal processing circuit from a high voltage noise, such as a static electricity, having a frequency close to a signal pass band.

On the surface of a ceramic sinter, at least an external electrode for input, an external electrode for output, and external electrodes for grounding are disposed, and the ceramic sinter includes an inductor electrically connected to the external electrode for input and external electrode for output, and a varistor electrically connected to the external electrode for input and external electrodes for grounding. By connecting the inductor to the signal line of the circuit of an electronic appliance and connecting the varistor between the input side of the signal line and the ground, electrostatic discharge pulses of about 0.5 to 2 nanoseconds can be suppressed efficiently.

By using a method for manufacturing a dielectric laminated device, an opening is formed on a first dielectric sheet, a strip line and an input and output line including an input and output electrode are formed by burying electrode materials in said opening, the first dielectric sheet is laminated with the second and third dielectric sheets disposed above and below respectively to form a laminate, a first and second shield electrodes and a ground electrode are formed, an end of the strip line is connected to the ground electrode, the first shield electrode and the second shield electrode are mutually connected through the ground electrode, and the input and output electrode is exposed along the line direction of the strip line. By this constitution of the above dielectric laminated device, the mounting reliability of the dielectric laminated device can be further increased.

A precipitate film having plating resistance may be formed on the surface of a varistor element during sintering process. Accordingly, the manufacturing process can be shortened, thereby improving the productivity. The manufacturing method comprises (a) a first process of forming the varistor element whose main component is zinc oxide; (b) a second process of sintering the varistor element and precipitating zinc compound having at least one of acid resistance and alkali resistance on the surface of the varistor. Preferably, the manufacturing method further comprises (c) a process of attaching an external electrode to the varistor element, and the external electrode attaching process is executed after finishing the varistor element sintering process.

Method for forming a dielectric laminated device

By using a method for manufacturing a dielectric laminated. device, an opening is formed on a first dielectric sheet, a strip line and an input and output line including an input and output electrode are formed by burying electrode materials in said opening, the first dielectric sheet is laminated with the second and third dielectric sheets disposed above and below respectively to form a laminate, a first and second shield electrodes and a ground electrode are formed, an end of the strip line is connected to the ground electrode, the first shield electrode and the second shield electrode are mutually connected through the ground electrode, and the input and output electrode is exposed along the line direction of the strip line. By this constitution of the above dielectric laminated device, the mounting reliability of the dielectric laminated device can be further increased.
