A microphone includes a microphone case having an opening in front of the microphone case accommodating a microphone unit in the opening; a piece of double-sided adhesive tape whose back side is attached along the opening of the front side of the microphone case; and a filter adhered to a front side of the piece of the double-sided adhesive tape so as to cover the opening of the microphone case, wherein the piece of the double-sided adhesive tape is provided with sound introduction holes which introduces sound waves to the microphone unit through the filter. This configuration enables to provide a microphone easily and in a short time having desired frequency response characteristics without raising costs.

In a unidirectional dynamic microphone unit, a cylindrical tube is provided to cover the microphone unit, a cylindrical wall of a first cylindrical portion that is included in the cylindrical tube and extends to at least the rearward is provided with a rear sound wave introducing portion weighted such that an acoustic resistance value is gradually made smaller toward the rearward side from positions of sound holes for taking in a sound wave transmitting around from the rearward side, preferably formed of a trumpet-shaped opening, and it is possible to enhance the sensibility to sound pressures without degradation of the frequency response and the directionality.

A cylindrical housing accommodates the microphone unit, and includes a a first opening portion that transmits the sound wave to the microphone unit. A sheet member having an air-permeable property and a water-repellent property covers the first opening portion. A frame including a second opening portion having a shape corresponding to a shape of the first opening portion covers the sheet member at a position of the first opening portion. A wind screen having a drainage property covers an exterior of the housing.

Narrow directional stereo microphone

A highly directional microphone includes an acoustic tube and a microphone unit that is disposed inside the base end of the acoustic tube. The acoustic tube is composed of an elastic material. An adjustable member elongates and contracts the distance between the microphone unit and the front end of the acoustic tube. The acoustic tube is held by an acoustic-tube protector having openings on a peripheral wall thereof. The base end of the acoustic tube is integrated to the acoustic-tube protector, and the front end of the acoustic tube is connected to a sliding cylinder that is slidably fitted in the axis direction of the acoustic tube along the acoustic-tube protector.

Highly directional microphone

A narrow-angle directional microphone having an acoustic tube, accommodated in a cylindrical microphone case, in a circumferential wall of which an opening is formed to be covered with an acoustic resistor and to a rear end of which a microphone unit is attached, prevents abnormal noise from occurring. The narrow-angle directional microphone includes a first acoustic resisting material provided on an outer circumferential surface of the acoustic tube and covering the opening; and a second acoustic resisting material provided between the first acoustic resisting material and an inner circumferential surface of the microphone case, having a predetermined elastic force in a thickness direction. The second acoustic resisting material covers the first acoustic resisting material, and is fixed to the acoustic tube; and presses the outer circumferential surface of the acoustic tube and the inner circumferential surface of the microphone case by the elastic force.
