A displacement control valve for a variable displacement compressor. The displacement control valve includes a drive force transmission body, a pressure sensitive chamber, an internal passage, and a valve body. The valve body includes an annular seal which is contactable with a valve seat surface facing toward the first valve body. The drive force transmission body includes a drive rod and a valve body structure having a shaft passage and forming the first valve body. The drive rod is fitted to the shaft passage and coupled to the valve body structure so as to form a gap passage between an outer surface of the drive rod and a wall surface of the shaft passage. The internal passage includes a recess arranged radially inward from the annular seal, the shaft passage, and the gap passage. The gap passage is in direct communication with the recess.

Displacement control valve for variable displacement compressor

A displacement control valve () is connected to a variable displacement compressor. An open passage () in which a refrigerant gas flows is formed within a rod () and a valve body () of the displacement control valve (). Further, an inner circumferential surface of a valve chamber () is formed as a guide portion () for moving the valve body () along an axis (L) of the valve chamber (). A valve portion () of the valve body () is formed in a circular arc cross sectional shape along a surface of a sphere (K) in which an intermediate point of a length of the guide portion () along the axis (L) of the valve chamber () is set to a center (N) on the axis (L), and a distance from the center (N) to a contact point between a valve seat () and the valve portion () is set to a radius (r).

Displacement control valve of variable displacement compressor

A displacing device is incorporated in a displacement control valve. The displacing device includes a first pressure chamber, a second pressure chamber, a second bellows, a transmission rod, and an urging spring. The second pressure chamber communicates with a suction chamber. The interior of the second pressure chamber is a suction pressure zone. When the pressure in the suction pressure zone is less than or equal to a predetermined reference pressure, the transmission rod moves an actuation rod (valve body) to open a valve hole. Therefore, a variable displacement compressor is prevented from operating with a large displacement when there is insufficient amount of refrigerant or when the speed of the compressor is high.

Displacement control mechanism for variable displacement compressor

A controller for a variable displacement compressor that maintains high displacement while preventing excessive increase in discharge pressure. The controller includes a pressure sensing mechanism for detecting pressure of a suction pressure region in the compressor. A sensor detects pressure of a discharge pressure region in the compressor. When the pressure detected by the sensor is greater than a threshold pressure, an ECU switches the control of the compressor from control with the suction pressure controlling means to control with the discharge pressure controlling means.

A control valve has a valve body for opening and closing a valve hole and a solenoid mechanism for urging the valve body by energizing a solenoid. The solenoid mechanism includes a yoke, a plunger housing, a fixed core and a plunger. The yoke accommodates the solenoid and forms a magnetic path. The plunger housing made of stainless steel connects with the yoke, and has a central axis. The fixed core connects with the yoke. The plunger is accommodated in the plunger housing and connects with the valve body. The plunger is attracted to the fixed core to move in the direction of the central axis by applying electromagnetic force from the solenoid. Black oxide treatment is performed to the yoke after the plunger housing is brazed to the yoke.

Control valve and variable displacement compressor having the same

A first bleed passage and a second bleed passage each connect a crank chamber of a compressor with a suction chamber of the compressor. A first supply passage and a second supply passage each connect the crank chamber with a discharge chamber of the compressor. A first control valve adjusts the opening size of the first supply passage in response to the pressure in the suction chamber. A second control valve includes a ball valve and an electromagnetic actuator. The ball valve adjusts the opening size of the second supply passage and the opening size of the first bleed passage. The electromagnetic actuator moves the ball valve. The ball valve is moved to a first position and to a second position. At the first position, the ball valve closes the second supply passage and opens the first bleed passage. At the second position, the ball valve opens the second supply passage and closes the first bleed passage. A displacement control device, which includes the first and second control valves, readily and reliably changes the displacement of the compressor.

A control valve has a valve housing and a valve chamber defined in the valve housing. A valve body is accommodated in the valve chamber for adjusting the opening degree of a supply passage. A pressure sensing chamber is defined in the valve housing. The pressure at a pressure monitoring point in a refrigerant circuit is applied to the pressure sensing chamber. A bellows is located in the pressure sensing chamber. The bellows has a movable end. A transmission rod is slidably supported by the valve housing. The transmission rod includes the valve body. A support spring is located between the inner wall of the pressure sensing chamber and the movable end of the bellows. The spring supports the movable end such that the movable end can be displaced. The movable end of the bellows includes a protrusion such that the spring and the movable end of the bellows are fitted to each other.

A control valve is used for a variable displacement compressor. The compressor has a crank chamber and a bleed passage. The control valve includes a valve housing. A valve chamber is defined in the valve housing. A valve body is accommodated in the valve chamber for adjusting the opening size of the bleed passage. A pressure sensing chamber is defined in the valve housing. A pressure sensing member separates the pressure sensing chamber into a first pressure chamber and a second pressure chamber. The pressure at a first pressure monitoring point is applied to the first pressure chamber. The pressure at a second pressure monitoring point located is applied to the second pressure chamber. The pressure sensing member moves the valve body in accordance with the pressure difference between the first pressure chamber and the second pressure chamber such that the displacement of the compressor is varied to counter changes of the pressure difference. The force applied by an actuator corresponds to a target value of the pressure difference. The pressure sensing member moves the valve body such that the pressure difference seeks the target value. An urging member is accommodated in the valve chamber. The urging member urges the valve body in a direction to open the control passage.

A control valve is located in a variable displacement compressor, which is used in a refrigerant circuit. The control valve includes a pressure-sensing member. The pressure sensing member moves a valve body in accordance with the pressure difference between a first pressure monitoring point and a second pressure monitoring point, which are located in the refrigerant circuit. A method for producing a rotor assembly of a heat generator. The rotor assembly includes an inner rotor and an outer rotor that is rotated integrally with the inner rotor. The producing method includes forming the inner rotor from iron or iron alloy, and casting the outer rotor around the inner rotor by aluminum or aluminum alloy so that the outer rotor is firmly fixed to the inner rotor without slippage when heated.
