A battery includes a battery can which includes a cylindrical portion having an opening edge portion at one end portion and a bottom portion closing the other end portion of the cylindrical portion, an electrode assembly which is housed in the cylindrical portion, and an opening sealing body which seals an opening formed in the opening edge portion. The opening sealing body includes a terminal portion and a gasket interposed in a compressed state between the terminal portion and the opening edge portion. The opening edge portion includes at least a base portion extending in an axial direction of the cylindrical portion and a tongue portion protruding from the base portion, and the tongue portion extends inward in a radial direction of the cylindrical portion so as to cover an upper surface of the gasket.

Battery

A battery includes a battery can including a cylindrical portion and a bottom portion, the cylindrical portion including an opening edge portion at one end portion of the cylindrical portion, the bottom portion closing the other end portion of the cylindrical portion; an electrode body housed in the cylindrical portion; a sealing member sealing an opening of the opening edge portion; and a fixing member fixing the sealing member to the battery can. The sealing member includes a terminal portion, an outer ring, and a first gasket, the outer ring being disposed along a peripheral edge of the terminal portion, and the first gasket being interposed between the opening edge portion and an external peripheral edge portion of the outer ring. The fixing member compresses the first gasket in a direction in which the external peripheral edge portion and the opening edge portion face each other, the fixing member compressing the first gasket via the external peripheral edge portion and the opening edge portion.

Provided is a stretchable film including an elastomer layer, and a surface layer provided on any one or both of a first surface and a second surface of the elastomer layer, in which the surface layer contains one or more polypropylene-based resins selected from the group consisting of block polypropylene, which is a copolymer with ethylene, and random polypropylene, which is a copolymer with ethylene, and calcium carbonate, a content of the calcium carbonate in the surface layer is 10% to 75% by mass with respect to a total mass of the surface layer, a thickness of the elastomer layer is 20 μm to 55 μm, and a thickness of the surface layer is 0.4 μm to 5.0 μm.

Stretchable film

A storage battery includes a battery casing, a cover closing an opening of said battery casing, and a thinner see-through window portion provided on a sidewall of battery casing for visual recognition, from the outside, of a level of electrolyte contained in battery casing. A rib for reinforcement is provided at see-through window portion.
