A surface protection composition which is hard to deform or flow even placed under environments of a large temperature change with an external physical load such as pressure, and which stably protects a metal surface. A terminal fitted electric wire coated with the composition. The surface protection composition contains a high-consistency material (A) containing a lubricant base oil and an amide compound, and a phosphorus composition (B). The phosphorus composition (B) contains a composition (b1) containing one or more compounds represented by the general formulae (1) and (2) and one or more metals and/or one or more amines. The phosphorus composition (B) also contains one or more compounds (b2) represented by the general formula (3).

Surface protection composition and terminal fitted electric wire

An anticorrosive agent including: a high-consistency material having a lubricant base oil and an amide compound, a composition of a phosphorus compound comprising one or more compounds represented by the general formulae (1) and (2) and a metal, and at least one kind of resin selected from a rosin-based resin, a terpene resin, a terpene phenol resin, a phenol resin, a coumarone-indene resin, and a petroleum resin, wherein a mass ratio of the high-consistency material and the composition is within a range of 50:50 to 98:2, and a content of resin is 2 to 20 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the total of the high-consistency material and the composition.

Anticorrosive agent and terminal fitted electric wire

A liquid composition which has an excellent coating property at room temperature and is retained on a surface to be coated after application on the surface, and a terminal-fitted electric wire having an increased corrosion resistance using the same. The liquid composition contains a high-consistency material, a low-viscosity liquid having a kinetic viscosity of 100 mm/s or lower measured at 40&#xb0; C. in accordance with JIS K2283, and an adduct containing an acidic phosphate ester containing one or more kinds of compounds represented by General Formulae (1) and (2), and a metal,P(&#x2550;O)(&#x2014;OR)(&#x2014;OH)&#x2003;&#x2003;(1),P(&#x2550;O)(&#x2014;OR)(&#x2014;OH)&#x2003;&#x2003;(2),where Rrepresents a hydrocarbon group having 4 to 30 carbon atoms.

Liquid composition and terminal-fitted electric wire

An anticorrosive agent maintains its anticorrosion property when the agent is applied to the connection part of the terminal-fitted electric wire containing a covering member containing a plasticizer, and is exposed to high temperature. A terminal-fitted electric wire improves in anticorrosion property by using the agent. The anticorrosive agent contains a base oil (A) having a viscosity of 30 mPa&#xb7;s or higher at 100&#xb0; C., and a metal adsorbent (B) containing a phosphorus compound. The mass composition ratio (A):(B) of the base oil (A) and the metal adsorbent (B) is within a range of 50:50 to 98:2. In the terminal-fitted electric wire, an electric connection part between a terminal and an electric conductor is covered with a film of the anticorrosive agent.

(2) where Rrepresents an organic group having four or more carbon atoms, and component that is an adduct of a metal and/or organic amine compound and acidic alkyl phosphate ester including one or more compounds represented by General Formulae (1) or (2).

Composition having oil film retention function, anticorrosive agent using same, and insulated terminated electric wire

A wiring harness capable of reliably blocking a leak path after an endurance test and exhibiting a good waterproof performance over a long period of time. The wiring harness has a waterproof structure in which a spliced portion is formed by joining conductors that are exposed by partially removing coating materials, and a conductor exposed portion composed of a bundle of the exposed conductors. An outer peripheral surface of each coating material end part of each insulated wire adjacent to the conductor exposed portion are continuously covered with a waterproofing agent to seal the conductor exposed portion and is configured using a reactive adhesive having a gel fraction in a range of 20 to 70% as the waterproofing agent.

A composition for a metal surface coating that does not require a posttreatment such as heating, has flexibility to be able to follow deformation of a member to be coated, hardly peels off from a metal surface, and can be used for the purpose of corrosion protection, and a terminal-equipped covered electric wire using the same. A curing material, having a solubility parameter of 9.4 or more, contains at least a chain transfer agent that contains a compound containing a polyether structure and two or more urethane bonds or two or more urea bonds in a molecule, and a metal-containing compound. A wire harness is manufactured by supplying the curing material to a conductor exposed portion of a wire bundle including a plurality of bundled insulated wires each having a conductor covered with a covering material made of an insulating body, the conductor exposed portion being formed by removing a part of the covering material of the wire bundle to expose the conductor inside; and curing the curing material by irradiating light in a state in which a surface of the curing material is covered with a protective member formed from a resin containing a plasticizer and having light transmissivity, thereby forming a waterproof portion.

Curing material, wire harness, and manufacturing method thereof

A terminated electric wire includes an electric wire that includes a core wire including a metal having an ionization tendency larger than that of copper and being exposed from an end portion of the electric wire, and a terminal that includes copper or a copper alloy and is connected to the exposed core wire. A surface treating layer includes a surface treating agent that is in liquid form or in paste form and whose molecular structure contains an affinity group having an affinity for the terminal and a hydrophobic group having hydrophobicity, and is formed on a surface of the terminal. As a result, the electrolytic corrosion resistance of the terminated electric wire is improved.

Terminated electric wire and method for manufacturing terminated electric wire

A wiring harness has a waterproof structure in which a waterproof agent covers a conductor exposed portion-and outer peripheral surfaces of end portions of wire covering members of a plurality of insulated wires in succession, the portion including a splice portion where portions of the members of the insulated wires are removed and the exposed conductors are spliced together and a bundle of the exposed conductors of the insulated wires, the end portions being adjacent to the portion, whereby the portion is sealed with the waterproof agent, wherein the waterproof agent is a cured product of an ultraviolet curable adhesive agent that contains (A) an ester acrylate having a linear or branched C2-C12 alkyl group, (B) a (meth)acrylate compound comprising at least two urethane bonds in one molecule, and (C) a photopolymerization initiator.

Wire harness

It is an object of the present invention to ensure a high water-stopping property of a wire harness including a waterproofing connector section that is molded from a resin, by suppressing a variation in the outer size of a seal section of the connector section. The connector section is made from a first synthetic resin that is insert-molded with a part of a terminal fitting of the terminated electric cable used as an insert section. A water-stopping section is made from a second synthetic resin that is insert-molded with a section extending from a part of the terminal fitting to an insulation coating of the terminated electric cable used as an insert section. The seal section is made from the second synthetic resin that is insert-molded with a part of the connector section used as an insert section. The second synthetic resin is softer than the first synthetic resin.

Provided is a (meth)acrylate and a radical curable material with which the sensitivity can be enhanced to improve the curability, the increase in viscosity can be suppressed due to good compatibility with various acrylate compounds, and there is no risk that the physical properties of the curable material are deteriorated. The (meth)acrylate has one or more structures represented by Formula 1 in the molecule, and when the (meth)acrylate is used for radical curing, the sensitivity is enhanced. In Formula 1, Ris a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, Ris a C-Calkyl chain, Ris either Formula 2 or 3, and Ris an alkyl chain constituted by carbon atoms and hydrogen atoms.

Highly sensitive (meth)acrylate and radical curable material

A curable sensitizer that exhibits a radical-polymerization sensitizing ability that conventional sensitizers do not have in a polymerization reaction using radicals, and is easily available at a low cost, a photocurable material containing the sensitizer, a cured product of the photocurable material, and a material for a wiring harness containing the photocurable material. The curable sensitizer contains an alcohol (meth)acrylate synthesized from an alcohol having one or more hydroxy groups and two or more oxygen atoms in a molecule and a (meth) acrylate ingredient selected from a (meth)acrylic acid and a derivative thereof. An ester bond is formed between one of the hydroxy groups of the alcohol and the (meth)acrylate ingredient. The sensitizer is capable of increasing curability of a curable material when mixed in the material. The photocurable material contains the curable sensitizer and a photoinitiator. The material for the wiring harness contains the photocurable material.
