According to one embodiment, a vehicle-use storage battery system includes a storage battery, a main circuit, a circuit breaker, a storage battery management unit, a first determiner, and a second determiner. The main circuit is electrically connected to the storage battery. The circuit breaker is disposed between the storage battery and the main circuit to make or break the electrical connection therebetween. The storage battery management unit manages an operating state of the storage battery. The first determiner determines whether to break the electrical connection between the storage battery and the main circuit by means of the circuit breaker. The second determiner determines, on the basis of at least one of operating states of the storage battery management unit, the first determiner, and the circuit breaker, whether to break the electrical connection between the storage battery and the main circuit by means of the circuit breaker.

Vehicle-use storage battery system

According to one embodiment, a vehicular storage battery device includes a housing, battery boxes, and a common cooling passage. The battery boxes are disposed in the housing. Each of the battery boxes houses an electric cell as a vehicle power source and includes a heat transporting part transporting heat generated in the battery box to outside of the battery box. The common cooling passage is disposed in the housing. The common cooling passage is provided with an inlet for taking in a fluid and an outlet for discharging the fluid having passed through the passage. The inlet and the outlet are open in a direction different from a traveling direction of the vehicle. The heat transporting part of each of the battery boxes is exposed to inside of the passage.

Vehicular storage battery device

A vehicle system includes an instructing portion that issues open/close instructions for a charging disconnector, a discharging disconnector, and a pair of contactors. A diagnosis start determination portion determines a diagnosis start timing before entering a trolleyless section. A remaining battery capacity checks whether a battery unit has a battery capacity necessary in a trolleyless section travel. A relay operation check portion checks operability of a charging disconnector, the discharging disconnector, and the pair of contactors based on certain open/close states of a plurality of relays depending on the open/close instructions. An abnormality determination portion determines trolleyless section travel is not allowed when the relay operation check portion is incapable of checking operability or necessary remaining battery capacity, the remaining battery capacity check portion, the relay operation check portion, and the abnormality determination portion being operated when the diagnosis start determination portion determines that it is diagnosis start timing.

Vehicle system and control method therefor

The present invention involves connectors for reducing Far-End Crosstalk (FEXT) through the use of novel polarity swapping to negate the cumulative effect of FEXT. Skew adjustment is used to improve the FEXT cancellation from polarity swapping. The polarity reversal location or locations among FEXT sources are optimized to achieve maximum FEXT cancellation. The novelty polarity swapping technique can be applied to a wide variety of connectors, such as mezzanine connectors, backplane connectors, and any other connectors that can benefit from FEXT reduction.

Reducing far-end crosstalk in electrical connectors

A connector has data signal conductors for communicating data signals and voltage reference (power and ground) conductors for the signals' return currents. Voltage reference conductors carrying the same voltage level are coupled together at one or more points between the ends of the connector to shift the connector's resonant frequency beyond an operating frequency range of the data signals. Decoupling capacitors may alternatively or additionally be inserted between pairs of voltage reference conductors carrying high and low voltage levels at one or more points between the ends of the connector to shift the connector's resonant frequency beyond an operating frequency range of the data signals.

Intermediate board electrical connector

A modular jack assembly with an indicator comprises a housing ( ) made of an insulative material and consisting of two tiers, each tier having at least one through-hole ( ) and at least one opening ( or ) for receiving a mating connector. The modular assembly further comprises at least one light transmission means ( D) for transmitting light, which is provided in the through-hole and has a light receiving member ( ) at one end for receiving light from a corresponding light source ( OR ) mounted on a board outside of the modular jack assembly and disposed in a line along a rear wall of the housing and an indicator member at the other end for displaying the light to the outside of the modular jack assembly. The transmission means provided in the through-hole of an upper tier extends upwardly from the light receiving member along the rear wall, bent at right angles into an upper wall of the upper tier and then bent diagonally along the upper wall of the upper tier. The light transmission means provided in the through-hole of a lower tier extends upwardly from the light receiving member along the rear wall and bent at right angles into and through an upper wall of the lower tier.

Modular jack assembly having light transmission means with a light indicator

A contact element 1 comprises a rigid fixing section 2 to be inserted into a slot 12 of an insulation housing 10 and a flexible section 3 extending from the fixing section 2. The flexible section 3 comprises a pair of upper and lower first thin springs 5 extending from the fixing section 2 and a pair of second thin springs 6 extending from the first thin springs 5 and connect with or spaced from each other. A pair of contact points 7 are provided at the joints between the first and second thin springs.

Interconnecting electrical connector

An electrical connector for connecting a daughter board to a mother board includes an insulating housing to be mounted on the mother board; a plurality of contact terminals disposed in the insulating housing; an open mouth provided in the insulating housing for receiving and allowing the daughter board to be turned toward a latch a pair of latch levers provided on opposite sides of the open mouth and having a latch portion and a sliding member at an upper portion thereof; a protective member provided on the insulation housing and spaced from the sliding member by a predetermined distance; a front surface of the latch portion being made in such a form that the daughter board can pass over the latch portions, with opposite sides thereof pushing the latch levers outwardly, when it is turned rearwardly about the edge portion; and a rear surface of the latch portion being made in such a form that it latches the daughter board to the electrical connector when the daughter board is connected to the electrical connector but it permits the latch lever reflects and the sliding member to abut against the protective member thereby pushing the latch levers outwardly to permit the daughter board to pass over the latch portion.

Electrical connector

An electrical connector for connecting a daughter board to a mother board, includes an insulating housing; contact terminals disposed in the insulating housing; an open mouth provided in the insulating housing for receiving the daughter board; terminal receiving slots provided in the open mouth; each of the contact terminals being made by stamping and forming a spring conductive sheet so as to have a fixing section to be fitted in the terminal receiving slot, a reverse U-shaped section extending upwardly from the fixing section and then downwardly into the open mouth to provide a lower contact point, a J-shaped section extending upwardly from the lower contact point and toward the rear wall and then upward to provide a stopper section, and a C-shaped section extending upwardly from the J-shaped section and into the open mouth to provide an upper contact point; the reverse U-shaped section, the J-shaped section, and the C-shaped section constituting a spring unit; shoulders provided on the rear wall of the open mouth for engagement with the stopper section to hold the contact terminal in the terminal receiving slot with the spring unit under a preload condition so that when the daughter board is turned to the latch position to flex the spring section, the upper contact points are brought into contact with the pads on the edge portion with a predetermined contact force.

A circuit board electrical connector includes a holding section (21); a receiving recess (23) provided in the holding section for receiving an edge portion of a circuit board; a pair of guiding sections (22) extending upwardly from opposite ends of the holding section; a pair of receiving slots (28) provided in the guiding sections for receiving opposite side portions of the circuit board for guiding the circuit board in direction of thickness of the circuit board; and a pair of guide plates (32) provided within the guiding section and having an elastic property for making sliding contact with opposite side faces of the circuit board to guide the circuit board in widthwise direction of the circuit board.
