A battery cover including a main body, an opening/closing part provided on the main body, a flexible rib having a locking projection provided on the opening/closing part, an abutting rib provided on the main body, which has a locking recess to be engaged with the locking projection while the opening/closing part is opened to the main body, a contact portion that abuts on the locking projection and deflects the flexible rib when the opening/closing part is opened to the main body, and a flat portion provided on the contact portion, which abuts on the locking projection first when the opening/closing part is opened to the main body and extends in the direction orthogonal to the direction of force input when abutting on the locking projection.

Battery cover

A fuse unit includes a fusible link, a holding mechanism, and a locking mechanism. The fusible link is connected to a battery terminal and includes a fusible element that melts when an overcurrent flows through the fusible link. The holding mechanism includes a base portion disposed between a post standing surface of a battery housing and the battery terminal in a state where the battery terminal is fastened to a battery post provided on the post standing surface, and a holding portion that is formed next to the base portion and that holds the fusible link above the post standing surface. The locking mechanism locks the holding mechanism onto the post standing surface. With this configuration, the fuse unit can suppress a load acting on the battery post.

Fuse unit

A complex type fusible link which includes an insulative block base including a plurality of cavities; a conductive connecting plate which is integrally embedded in the insulative block base, a part of the conductive connecting plate being exposed to at least one of the cavities; a plurality of fusible elements each of which is accommodated in corresponding one of the cavities and includes a first end which is connected to the part of the conductive connecting plate and a second end; and a plurality of terminals each of which is integrally embedded in the insulative block base and includes a first end which is connected to the second end of corresponding one of the fusible elements and a second end which is exposed from the insulative block base, at least one of the fusible elements includes a fastening portion to which another fusible element is fastened.

Complex type fusible link, fuse box, and manufacturing method thereof

A fusible link having a high-rated terminal group and a low-rated fuse box are provided. The low-rated fuse box has a power-source-side terminal connected to an auxiliary terminal of the fusible link, a load-side connection terminal to be connected to a load side, a holder configured to hold the power-source-side terminal and the load-side connection terminals, and a low-current fuse configured to electrically connect, when attached to the holder in a detachable manner, the power-source-side terminal and the load-side connection terminals to each other.

A fuse unit attachment structure includes a fuse bracket to be mounted on a fuse unit directly attachable to a battery and a bracket connecting member for connecting the fuse bracket to the battery. The fuse bracket has a unit supporting portion to support the fuse unit so as to be movable in a direction perpendicular to a lateral surface of the battery and a connecting member engaging portion to be engaged with the bracket connecting member so as to be movable in a direction along the lateral surface of the battery.

Fuse unit attachment structure

A manufacturing method of a complex type fusible link. The manufacturing method includes hollowing out a metal plate into a link-like conductor including a connecting plate and a terminal, cutting out the link-like conductor so as to separate the connecting plate and the terminal, forming, by insert molding, a block base including a cavity after setting the connecting plate and the terminal in a mold, and directly connecting a fusible element to an exposed portion of the connecting plate and an exposed portion of the terminal.

Method of manufacturing a complex fusible link

A fuse unit includes a feeding terminal, an energizing terminal and a fusion portion. The feeding terminal is fixed to a battery post to receive power from a battery. The fusion portion electrically connects the feeding terminal and the energizing terminal, and is arranged over the battery post. The feeding terminal is positioned between the energizing terminal and the fusion portion.

A fusible link unit which is fastened to a battery post clamp terminal clamped to an on-vehicle battery, includes: a bus bar made from a metal plate and including: a battery terminal including at least two mounting edges, and a plurality of fastening holes provided thereon and through which a fastening member of the battery post clamp terminal is inserted, each of the fastening holes corresponding to a respective one of the mounting edges; and at least one fusible portion provided at a side of the bus bar opposite to the battery terminal; and a resin case covering the bus bar except for the at least one fusible portion.

Fusible link unit

A fuse unit including a fuse element therein includes a first resin body and a second resin body. The second resin body is connected to the first resin body by a hinge portion and configured to be bended around the hinge portion with respect to the first resin body. A pair of first side walls and a pair of second side walls are provided on the first resin body and the second resin body respectively and extend in a direction intersecting an axis of the bending of the second resin body. A pair of engaging parts are provided at the lock arms provided at the first side walls respectively respectively, and each of which has a first inclined face. A pair of engaged parts are provided at the second side walls respectively, and corresponds to the engaging parts respectively, and each of which has a second inclined face configured to contact the first inclined face in surface contact in a state that the second resin body is bended. The first inclined face and the second inclined face are formed along a direction intersecting a direction of a reaction force by springback of the fuse element caused by the bending of the second resin body.

The present invention provides a complex type fusible link which includes an insulative block base including a plurality of cavities; a conductive connecting plate which is integrally embedded in the insulative block base, a part of the conductive connecting plate being exposed to at least one of the cavities; a plurality of fusible elements each of which is accommodated in corresponding one of the cavities and includes a first end which is connected to the part of the conductive connecting plate and a second end; and a plurality of terminals each of which is integrally embedded in the insulative block base and includes a first end which is connected to the second end of corresponding one of the fusible elements and a second end which is exposed from the insulative block base.

A current sensor includes a housing having a pair of first slits, a bus bar supported by the housing and electrically connected to a battery post provided on a battery, an annular shield member arranged so as to surround an axis extending in a direction in which a current is flowed in the bus bar, and a magnetic-electric conversion element provided on the housing to detect a magnetic flux density of a magnetic field generated when the current is flowed in the bus bar and produce an electric signal. The magnetic-electric conversion element is arranged between the first slits. The shield member is inserted into the first slits so that the shield member is mounted on the housing.
