A power conversion device comprises: a power conversion circuit that converts a supplied electric power; a current detection circuit that detects a current; a control circuit that controls an operation of the power conversion circuit; and a multilayer substrate that is provided with the power conversion circuit, the current detection circuit, and the control circuit. The multilayer substrate includes a printed wiring, and the printed wiring includes a transmission pattern that transmits a detection signal detected by the current detection circuit to the control circuit. An on-off fluctuation unit of the power conversion circuit fluctuates. The whole of the transmission pattern is disposed at a position different from the on-off fluctuation unit in a direction perpendicular to a plate surface of the multilayer substrate.

Power conversion device

A connector unit of a drive device includes an electric power supply connector, a signal connector, a base portion and leg portions and is fixed to an opposite side of a heat sink, which is opposite from an electric motor. The leg portions are formed at an outer peripheral edge of the base portion. A cover member receives the connector unit and the heat sink in the state where the electric power supply connector and the signal connector are exposed from the cover member. A connector side O-ring is installed between the base portion and the cover member. A height position of a first end surface of each leg portion is on a first side of a second base end surface of the base portion. With this construction, it is possible to limit deterioration of waterproofness of the drive device caused by a thermal load.

Drive device

A motor includes a stator having a winding wire wound thereon, a rotor, and a shaft. The motor is housed in a motor case, where the motor case has a cylinder part and a bottom part. A first terminal is disposed on the motor case, and has one end coupled to an end of the winding wire, such that the wire passes through a first opening on the bottom part. A controller case is disposed detachably on the bottom part. The controller case has a controller housed therein, and has a second terminal that has one end electrically coupled to a power module and the other end engages with the first terminal to electrically couple the motor and the controller. A terminal holder is attached on the motor case to hold and support the first terminal.

Drive unit terminal holder

Two power modules, in which switching elements for switching over currents supplied to coils of a motor are resin-molded, are provided to face each other sandwiching a plane including a rotation axis of a shaft. A first smoothing capacitor, second smoothing capacitors and a choke coil are located between the power modules. By consolidating large-sized electronic parts between the power modules, a control unit can be reduced in size and impedance of electric conductor connecting the electronic parts and the power modules can be reduced.

Electric drive apparatus

In two systems of three-phase alternating-current inverter devices that drive a motor, power elements on power supply sides of bridge circuits are mounted on unit bases to constitute upper arm units. Power elements on ground sides of the bridge circuits are mounted on unit bases to constitute lower arm units. The upper arm units and the lower arm units are arranged separately on upper surfaces and outside surfaces of heat dissipation blocks of a heat sink. Heats generated by the power elements do not interfere with each other and are emitted to the heat sink, whereby heat dissipation performance of the power elements constituting the bridge circuits is improved.
