A fluid machine includes an electric motor, a pump, an inverter, and a housing having a motor chamber and an inverter chamber. The housing has a cooling passage having an inverter cooling passage and a motor cooling passage through which cooling fluid flows. After the cooling fluid is introduced to the inverter cooling passage, a flow of the cooling fluid is divided at the inlet into a flow of the cooling fluid flowing through the inverter cooling passage and a flow of the cooling fluid flowing through the motor cooling passage, the flow of the cooling fluid flowing through the inverter cooling passage and the flow of the cooling fluid flowing through the motor cooling passage are joined together at the outlet and discharged from the inverter cooling passage. The inverter cooling passage has a passage expanded portion in which a vortex flow is generated.

Fluid machine

An electric pump includes a housing that includes a gear chamber, a rotor chamber, and a motor chamber. The electric pump includes a first seal member, a second seal member, and a third seal member. The first seal member seals a space between the gear chamber and the rotor chamber. The second seal member seals the space between the gear chamber and the rotor chamber. The third seal member seals a space between the gear chamber and the motor chamber. The third seal member seals the space between the gear chamber and the motor chamber to a lesser extent than the first seal member and the second seal member seal the space between the gear chamber and the rotor chamber.

Electric pump

A pump for a fuel cell includes a pump portion, a motor, a controller, a housing, and a temperature detector. The controller executes an activation control and a sensorless vector control. In the activation control, the controller executes a cold activation mode process when the outside air temperature is less than or equal to a set temperature. In the cold activation mode process, the controller executes at least one of increasing a value of an activation current supplied to the motor relative to when a normal activation mode process is executed or setting a supply duration of the activation current to the motor to be longer than that of when the normal activation mode process is executed.

Fuel cell pump and method for controlling fuel cell pump

A scroll compressor includes a housing having therein a discharge pressure region, a compression pressure region and a suction pressure region; a fixed scroll to form a discharge chamber as the discharge pressure region; and a movable scroll cooperating with the fixed scroll to form a compression chamber as the compression pressure region. The discharge pressure region includes an oil separation chamber connected to at least one of the compression pressure region and the suction pressure region through an oil supply passage having a flow restrictor. The flow restrictor is provided by a gap between an oil supply hole formed in the fixed scroll and an insertion member inserted in the oil supply hole. The gap is in the form of a spiral groove provided in at least one of an inner peripheral surface of the oil supply hole and an outer peripheral surface of the insertion member.

Scroll compressor

A vane compressor includes a housing having therein a suction chamber, a discharge chamber having a cover, and a rotor chamber, a rotor having therein a plurality of vane slots, and a plurality of vanes. The housing includes a partition that has a first surface forming the other surface of the rotor chamber and a second surface and separates the rotor chamber from the discharge chamber. An intermediate pressure chamber having a pressure that is lower than the discharge chamber and higher than the suction chamber is formed between the partition and the cover. A part of the second surface and a part of a covering surface of the discharge chamber cover are spaced away from each other by the intermediate pressure chamber. The intermediate pressure chamber is disposed so as to overlap at least a part of the other surface of the rotor chamber.

Vane compressor

In a vane compressor, a transmission pin is accommodated in a communication hole that provides communication between a first vane slot and a second vane slot. The transmission pin includes a loose-fit portion that is loosely inserted in a recessed portion formed in a bottom surface of each of first and second vanes, a shaft portion, and a flange portion formed between the loose-fit portion and the shaft portion and in contact with the bottom surface. A coil spring is disposed in the communication hole to urge the first vane and the second vane in opposite directions away from each other via the flange portion. The coil spring is disposed around the shaft portion and supported by the flange portion so as to urge and support the transmission pin.

Provided is a motor-driven compressor capable of realizing reduction in manufacturing costs. A compression mechanism of the motor-driven compressor according to the present invention includes a rotor rotatable by a rotation shaft and provided with a plurality of vane grooves, a plurality of vanes disposed advanceably and retractably in the respective vane grooves, a cup member formed into a bottomed cylindrical shape and enclosing the rotor, and a side plate closing an opening of the cup member The contour of the compressor is formed by a first housing and a second housing, and a suction pressure region in the first housing is hermetically closed from outside at a position where the first housing and the second housing are joined together.

Motor-driven compressor

A motor-driven compressor includes a metal housing accommodating a compression unit and an electric motor and a cover coupled to the housing. The cover and the housing define an accommodation chamber that accommodates a motor driving circuit that drives the electric motor. The cover includes a metal shield that blocks electromagnetic noise, a resin outer insulator that is fixed to an outer side of the shield and includes an outer circumferential portion, and a resin inner insulator that is fixed to an inner side of the shield and includes an outer circumferential portion. The shield, the outer insulator, and the inner insulator are separate from one another and stacked together. The shield is held between the outer insulator and the inner insulator. The outer circumferential portion of the outer insulator is joined to the outer circumferential portion of the inner insulator.

A motor-driven compressor includes an electric motor, a compression mechanism driven by the electric motor to compress refrigerant, a housing accommodating the electric motor and the compression mechanism, and a support having a mounting to be fastened to an object by a fastener. One of the housing and the support has a projection and the other of the housing and the support has a recess that is engaged with the projection through a vibration damper so that the support supports the housing.

A scroll compressor includes a housing, a fixed scroll, and a movable scroll. A compression chamber is formed between the movable scroll and the fixed scroll. An opposing wall is located in and fixed to the housing. A back pressure region is formed between the opposing wall and the movable scroll, and a back pressure in the back pressure region urges the movable scroll toward the fixed scroll. An annular sealing member is arranged between the movable scroll and the opposing wall. The movable scroll includes a holding portion that holds the sealing member. The sealing member includes a rubber portion, which elastically deforms in the holding portion, and a resin portion, which is made of a material harder than the rubber portion. The resin portion at least partially projects out of the holding portion toward the opposing wall. The resin portion is in contact with the opposing wall.

Scroll compressor including a sealing member

A motor-driven compressor includes a housing having an inlet port, a compression mechanism for compression of refrigerant introduced from an external refrigerant circuit via the inlet port into the housing, an inverter having a heat-generating component, an electric motor driven by the inverter, and a rotary shaft rotated by the electric motor thereby to drive the compression mechanism. The electric motor, the compression mechanism and the inverter are aligned in the housing in axial direction of the rotary shaft. An inlet pipe is connected to the inlet port. The housing has an outer peripheral surface in contact with the inlet pipe. The heat-generating component of the inverter is disposed adjacent to or in contact with the inlet pipe so as to be thermally coupled to the inlet pipe.

A motor-driven compressor has a compression mechanism, a rotary shaft, an electric motor, a motor drive circuit, a connecting terminal and a housing assembly. The compression mechanism, the electric motor, and the motor drive circuit are disposed along the axial direction of the rotary shaft in the housing assembly having first through third housings. The first housing is used for mounting the electric motor and the compression mechanism. The second housing has a terminal mounting portion for fixing the connecting terminal. The first and second housings have fastening portions at the radially peripheral portion thereof. The third housing is joined to the second housing to form an accommodation space for accommodating the motor drive circuit. The closed casing is formed by fastening the fastening portions of the first and second housings by means of a first bolt and connecting the second housing to the open end of the first housing.

A motor-driven compressor has a compression mechanism, a rotary shaft, an electric motor, a motor drive circuit and a housing assembly. The compression mechanism, the electric motor and the motor drive circuit are disposed along the axial direction of the rotary shaft in the housing assembly. The housing assembly has first and second housings. The first housing mounts the electric motor and the compression mechanism. The first housing has first and second mounting lugs formed integrally with the peripheral surface of the first housing. The second housing is joined to the first housing for accommodating the motor drive circuit. The second housing has a third mounting lug formed integrally with the second housing. The first through third mounting lugs are fastened to a mounting object to which the motor-driven compressor is to be mounted by means of fastening members.

Scroll compressors

A scroll type compressor has a fixed scroll, a movable scroll and a plurality of sealing members. The fixed scroll includes a fixed base plate and a fixed volute portion, which is formed on the fixed base plate. The fixed volute portion is tapered and the corners of the proximal end of the fixed volute portion are arched. The movable scroll is arranged to be engaged with the fixed scroll. The movable scroll includes a movable base plate and a movable volute portion, which is formed on the movable base plate. The movable volute portion is tapered and the corners of the proximal end of the movable volute portion are arched. One of the sealing members is located on the fixed base plate. The other of the sealing members is located on the movable base plate.
