A stator includes a stator core that includes a core back portion having an annular shape and with a central axis as a center and tooth portions extending from the core back portion to an inside in a radial direction and arranged in a circumferential direction, insulators that are attached to the tooth portions from the inside in the radial direction, a coil that is wound around the insulator, and a cover that supports an inner surface of the insulator opposing the inside in the radial direction from the inside in the radial direction.

Stator and motor

A motor may include a rotor including a shaft; a stator; and a bearing supporting the shaft. The rotor may include a plurality of core pieces on an outer side of the shaft, a plurality of permanent magnets, a mold resin part between the core pieces, and an interposed part in contact with a surface on one side in a circumferential direction of each of the core pieces. The neighboring core pieces may include a magnet insertion hole provided therebetween. The permanent magnet may include two poles, with poles of neighboring magnets facing each other having identical polarity. Each of the permanent magnets is in indirect contact with the core piece positioned on the other side in the circumferential direction of the magnet insertion hole via the interposed part.

Motor

A motor may include a rotor including a shaft; a stator arranged radially outside of the rotor; a bearing arranged on an upper side of the stator; a tubular housing; a bearing holder arranged on the upper side of the stator; and a busbar unit arranged on an upper side of the bearing holder. The rotor may include a rotor magnet fixed to the shaft. The stator may include an annular core back; teeth arranged to extend radially inward from the core back; and coils wound around the teeth. The housing may include a housing inner circumferential surface arranged to hold the stator. The bearing holder may be arranged to be in contact with the housing inner circumferential surface. The busbar unit may be arranged to be in contact with the housing inner circumferential surface.

A motor may include a rotor including a shaft having a central axis; a stator opposite to the rotor, and comprising coils; a bearing supporting the shaft; a metallic bearing holder covering the stator and supporting the bearing; at least one busbar on an opposite axial side of the bearing holder and including a connection terminal connected with a a coil wire extending from one of the coils; and a coil support between the stator and the bearing holder and fixed to the stator. The bearing holder may include at least one through hole. The coil support may include at least one insulating support portion comprising an opening portion. A portion of the opening portion of the insulating support portion having a smallest cross-sectional area in the opening portion lies inside of an edge of one of the through holes of the bearing holder.

Motor and in-vehicle apparatus

A motor may include a rotor including a shaft; a stator; and a bearing supporting the shaft. The rotor may include a plurality of core pieces on an outer side of the shaft, a plurality of permanent magnets, and a mold resin part between the core pieces. The neighboring core pieces may include a magnet insertion hole provided therebetween. The permanent magnet may include two poles, with poles of neighboring magnets facing each other having identical polarity. The mold resin part may include at least one first guide part disposed closer to one side than the center between neighboring core pieces, and covers at least a portion of a surface on one side of the magnet insertion hole in a circumferential direction, the permanent magnet being in direct indirect contact via resin with the core piece disposed on the other side of the magnet insertion hole.

A rotor unit includes a rotor core made of laminated steel sheets that are vertically laminated, and a holder made of resin. The rotor core and the holder are fixed together through insert molding. For this reason, the process of manufacturing the rotor core and the holder is shortened. Additionally, in the outer peripheral surface of the rotor core, a portion of resin that defines the holder is present between the plurality of steel sheets that defines the rotor core. For this reason, the fixing strength of the rotor core and the holder improves. Additionally, since a separation between the rotor core and the holder is prevented, magnets can be easily press-fitted.
