An outer-circumferential side of a core-back portion of a stator iron core has a welding portion that is provided in such a way as to ride on two or more electromagnetic steel plates including electromagnetic steel plates situated at a stacking-direction end portion of the stator iron core; the welding portion is provided partly in the stacking-direction of the stator iron core.

The outer-layer-side turn portion includes a first outer-layer-side bent portion, a first outer-layer-side oblique portion, and an outer-layer-side shift portion. The outer-layer-side shift portion has the inner-layer-side shift portion arranged between the outer-layer-side shift portion and the armature core.

An annular stator core in which, out of slots arrayed in a circumferential direction and extending in a radial direction, q slots are formed per pole and per phase; and stator windings, for respective phases, attached to the stator core. For each stator winding, q*n unit coils obtained by winding wire conductors at regular intervals into concentric winding forms are used to obtain n coils in each of which the q unit coils wound in a same direction are connected so as to be shifted from each other in the circumferential direction, and the stator winding is composed of two coil groups each obtained by joining the n/2 coils together. The two coil groups are connected in parallel to each other between power feed portions and neutral points, and two coils that are connected to the power feed portions are disposed so as to share the slot.

A laminated core manufacturing method according to the present invention is a manufacturing method for a laminated core including: a laminated body that is configured by laminating core strips that are made of a magnetic material, the laminated body including: a core back portion; and a tooth portion; and electrically insulating members that are disposed on two side portions of the tooth portion, wherein the laminated core manufacturing method includes a bonding step in which the insulating members are pressed onto each of the side surfaces of the tooth portion of the laminated body so as to integrate the laminated body and also so as to fix the insulating members to the laminated body, by means of at least one of an adhesive and a pressure-sensitive adhesive that is disposed between each of the side surfaces of the tooth portion and the insulating members.

In the rotating electric machine according to the present invention, radially outer-side terminals and radially inner-side terminals extend from slots while a circumferential bending direction is alternately changed for each group of n radially outer-side terminals or n radially inner-side terminals after the extension thereof from the slots. A first angle formed between at least one of an oblique-side portion of each of the n radially inner-side terminals, which are continuous in the circumferential direction of the stator core and are bent in the same circumferential bending direction, and an oblique-side portion of each of the n radially outer-side terminals, which are continuous in the circumferential direction and are bent the same circumferential bending direction, and an end surface of a stator core monotonously decreases in the circumferential bending direction.

In the rotating electric machine, a first terminal and a second terminal extend from two of the slots and a third terminal extends from one of the slots, which is located between the two slots. The first terminal and the second terminal are connected to each other with use of a bus bar. The bus bar has: a first end portion to be connected to a distal end portion of the first terminal; a second end portion to be connected to a distal end portion of the second terminal; and an interconnecting portion configured to couple the first end portion and the second end portion to each other, which is arranged in the circumferential direction on the stator core side of the first end portion and the second end portion so as to pass on the slot side of the third terminal.

This method includes: a coil assembly step of combining a plurality of coil units to form a coil basket; a core insertion step of inserting inner cores of in the radial direction to the coil basket; and a fixation member insertion step of inserting a fixation member to the outer circumference of the inner core. In the core insertion step, the radial-direction position of the coil basket is retained at a core insertion time position shifted outward in the radial direction relative to a normal position after armature completion, and the inner cores are inserted in the radial direction to the coil basket. After the core insertion step, the radial-direction positions of the coil basket and the inner cores are moved inward in the radial direction to the normal position after armature completion.

A rotating electrical machine can increase the strength of divided cores and, in addition, can achieve both a reduction in iron loss and a high rigidity of the divided cores. The stator of the rotating electrical machine includes a stator core having radially divided cores arranged in a ring, each divided core being a laminate of magnetic steel sheets. Each divided core has a swaged portion in which the laminated magnetic steel sheets are bonded by swaging. The swaged portion is disposed in a core back portion, which is in contact with core back portions of divided cores located on both sides of the divided core at a position whose distance from an outer periphery of the core back portion is within &#x2153; of a radial length of the core back portion.
